...if a female performer has been molested? I take this from this thread. Terri Summers responds thus:
It made me wonder: just why do guys want to know this? Does knowing this reduce or increase the stroke value of the girl? Or is it just an idle curiosity? And why doesn't anyone ask Brandon or Steve Holmes if they have been molested?

It's just like knowing the origins of superheroes/villains. Why does Batman fight crime? somebody killed his parents, etc.
It's why Belladonna was on Primetime Live. What turned a mormon girl into a pornstar?
Enquiring minds want to know.

I think a lot of fans think only girls who have been molested (as a child) would do porn. I know the mainstream media would like you to believe that idea eventhough it's bullshit of course.

Of course some girls have been molested but I doubt they choose porn because they have molested. I remember Aspen Brock telling Ed Powers during an interview that she was molested as a child. I also remember an interview with Kelly O'Dell back in 1992 in Hustler Erotic Video Guide where she wrote she was gang raped by a group of black guys when she was like 14 years old after she told the magazine she doesn't do black guys. I actually think she made that up as an excuse not do interracial but that's another story.

I really hate the whole issue, or non-issue, that people make of it. I have friends, family members and co-workers who were molested as children but did not go into porn. There are porn performers who love their job and were never molested, yet some people just can't accept this as being true. I hate that these people keep trying to find reasons that makes sense to them on why women participate in porn, cause they never take the time to just understand that everyone has their own reasons and it does not have to make sense to anyone else! There are people who could never see themselves in porn, but then they believe that everyone else thinks this way too so those women in porn must have emotional issues, which is just insane as all hell.

For me it doesn't do either. I see pornstars the same as everyone else. They just have a different job than I do. I know bad things happen to all people, and many people do their best to move on . If i'm attracted to a woman it makes no different, what happened to her as a child. There's no way you can change a person's childhood anyway, the only thing you can do as a fan, is to look at pornstars who have been abused like any other person. Besides, I feel that's what most people want is to be treated normal and not for people to pity them for what someone or some people did to them.

Unfortunately not. I started masturbating when I was 5 or 6 and always dreamed about having sex with an adult.

I fucked the first time when I was 13 and she was the same age, but it was boring. When I was 15 I fucked a girl who was 28 and I was in heaven. Later I fucked many mature women.

Good questions nietzsche, why do guys and others ask it? Part of the reason is that porn actresses sexual prowess and attitude is in many ways direct contrast to the sexual perception of female sexuality. Time and time again society promotes the notion that women value sex less than men, women will only have sex when they are emotionally attached to a guy, women prefer money over sex.

IN many elements of pornography thses myths are shattered to bits. Many large segments of society believe porn actresses don't really enjoy the sex, they are just doing it for money. When these same large segments realize that these women actually enjoy it (evident of obvious signs) and don't do it for the price they think, they are still in denial regarding the geniuine sexual intent of the actress. This is when they suspect she has been molested.

I find the molestation theory very weak and very uncommon in female motivation to engage in porn. For one if you are sexually molested you are more likely to be frigid then a sexual beast that has no inhibitions. Porn pigs/sluts who are superstars fuck without inhibtion. Why would someone who is molested fuck be unhibitited in general? Maybe some of them are using it to as an excercise to see sex as okay and not dirty but vast majority of women or men who have been molested are not going to turn into porn nymphs.

Question for you wouldn't Kelly O'Dell's attitude be far more commmon to molestation victims than the molestation=porn slut theory. I got one theory behind female attraction to do porn that makes far more sense, these women are trying to rebel agains the purity image forced down women's throat constantly. I have to say if that is true, I am more than happy about it.

I feel you brother believe me. The reasons why women do porn have a lot to do with them liking sex and the notion that they can use this as a venue of expressing their covert lust without see themselves as dirty. It is the obvious reason and pretty clear to someone who watches their videos. Porn is emperical proof that women can potential or (probably) do love and value sex as much and even more than men. The thing is that they can not overtly express this like their male counterparts due to the severe stigma and consequences that will be delivered.

I bet some experts who support spritual chastity will simply disbelieve Jenna Jameson, Devon, Jill Kelly when they tell them they have not been sexually molested. They will say, "Oh the expereience was so traumatic they blocked it out of their heads." Amazinlgy they don't interrogate Randy Spears, Mr. Marcus, Lexington Steel the very same way.

Porn is a blatant reminder women sexuality is as powerfual and as potent as men's but severly depressed and discouraged.

The answer is in part within the question. Mormons are the most sexually repressive sect of Christians out their. YOu think Evangelicals are bad, listen to a traditonalist mormon speak about lust even within a loving relationshiop. They are hostile to any form of soverigen, raw animal lust even when it is in a relationship. They find it just as sinful as premarital sex or adultery. No slutdom, freakiness is permitted in mormondom. How sad.

Well it is no wonder why she turned to porn? She wanted to express her sexuality with any man who can get it done in bed. Good for her and I will help her by buying and masturbating joyously to her vidoe.

Now if she was a guy he wouldn't go into porn unless their were women who were his physical type. I mean some guys like chunky women, slim women and all but most guys find women in porn attractive by appearance first. A larger portion of women(I said larger) are attracted to men who she instinctively thinks can get it done or does get it done.

I know why the censor nazis in the Government want to know, if they can equate abuse with being a pornstar, it falls right into their agenda.

I kind of agree with Jaggerclown, not that it is only the government, but I think that people who don't like porn and are looking at it that point of view would like to see a correlation between molestation and getting into porn.

As a porn fan I don't want to know, unless the starlet brings it up. Howard Stern brings this up all the time, I don't know why he does it, I don't know if I would classify him as anti porn but he does seem to look down on the girls for their choice of employment- maybe that explains it with him.

A better question is "what kind of a girl were you in high school?" because that's an erotic angle. I remember the hotties in my high school and wonder what became of them. Man, I could fantasize all night!

I think the reason that someone like Stern asks about molestation is that there's an underlying contempt and he wants to pin it on something. Sad. Stern is a sad waste of talent in my opinion, especially his E! show. Ugh.

I bet there are lots of legit reasons for girls to become porn stars, and only one of them is "hey, I like sex, why not get paid?" How about "I'm constantly being told that I'm hot, maybe I can make a buck with my face & bod..." "Well, since I'm a nude dancer, might as well try a fuck on camera, see if that goes o.k." "I'm broke, I need a bottle of hooch, and these guys will pay me $800 for a blowjob on video... why the hell not?" "I let my boyfriend jizz me in the face, why not let Brandon Iron do it? Yeah, sure, tape it, what's the big deal? How much? Okay."

Is that so bad? Does a girl have to be "messed up" to do a porno or a hundred?

I don't think Howard looks down on the porn actresses at all. However, he believes that men have severely higher value and sexual prowess than women dictated by biology. When he sees Janine lusting for women the same way he does he is in utter disbelief because it totally conflicts with his general image of women as either liking sex only in a loving relationship and being mongamous. Therefore, the only explanation he can come up with is that these women either have emotional issues or are sexually abused.

I am guessing Janine(if it really mattered)was not sexually abused but has the same casual sexual attitude toward sex that is perceived more common in men. My question is why? I doubt that Janine was sexually abused by a women so that can't use that as an explanation. Perhaps it is the obvious reason, she feels she can use porn as a vehicle to express her sexual inhibitions that she feels uncomfortable and timid expressing in the real world. This is the real reason why most women do porn in addition to they get paid for it. They get it good two ways: they are getting paid to rebel against soceital norms and enjoy it. And I am glad she is doing it.

I agree with your comments excpet for Howard having contempt for porn stars, but I would add that strippers, non-strippers who get into porn can at least envision a scenario where they can enjoy fucking a guy for pay. I don't think a woman goes into to porn and says "oh let's try it out" without thinking that there is a good possiblity they will enjoy it. Most of these women have the fantasies that are documented in sex research books about having sex with strangers, having taboo sex or simply putting out an image that assualts the "Madonna" image. Frankly, I think deep down large segments of women see this image as a prison. What better way to express this covert frustation by committing the very forbidden acts on video to be accesible to any willing customer.

Men get into porn for the very same reason. However, physical attraction that is more tied to a women's physical apperance is neccessary for them to use porn as a vehicle of rebellion.

Jewel you gotta find that question about molestation very troubling. It is like they are trying to discredit the autheticity of your sexaul enjoyment. I can see fathers who can not stand the image of her daugher as a pornslut using this as a reason to discredit porno. I wish a lot of dads were like Jena jamesons, but he is rare, rare, rare.

People do not have such sophisticated minds in this regard.

Exactly, they figure they need to discredit the sexual authenticity of the porn actress. If they prove there is absolutely no feminine sexual integrity in pornography, it will prevent adult fanbase from increasing and eventually erode it.

Opponents also fear that people will believe that the vast majority of porn actresses enjoy sex. IN their minds this is an impossiblity based on their biological theories of women being far less into sex and sexual variety than men.

The vast majority of these people are hostile to the idea of sexuality being celebrated as an independent concept. Am I right?

I think it is a stupid annoying question and also a very troubling question. Plenty of guys jacking off to this shit not only ask it but believe it. They just can't believe there are geniuine motives behind women enjoying porn. It is no different than men denying the fact that women find power, coolness sexy.

Are you sure? You are giving a damn good impression of just the opposite, if you ask me. No offense intended.

I have suffered abuse of the worst kind! I have repeatedly abused myself since around the age of 13 or so. My dick has endured thousands upon thousands of beatings.
