Almost every front-cover shows you a hot lady looking at you. It's like she is interested in you, and she is flirting with you. But then in the film, this lady always meets some other guy and totally forgets about you. She won't even look at you. It's like you don't even exist. Guys usually feel pretty bad, when something like this happens to them in real life. The hot lady breaks your heart, when she finds some other guy and loses her interest in you. This is just life. The hot lady is supposed to lose her interest in you, when she finds another guy. Or else her guy will get jealous and cause all kinds of problems. But do porn-ladies really need to lose their interest in you and stop looking at you, when they meet their fucking guy on the porn-set? It's not like their fucking guy will get jealous and start causing problems. I think porn-makers can make their films a lot hotter to watch, if they get their ladies to look straight into the camera once in a while for prolonged eye-contact with their viewers during their sex with their guys. Because when the hot lady keeps looking at you, even while she is having sex with another guy, then her interest in you is unmistakable. She wants you, because she keeps looking at you. It's like she never loses her interest in you. And she doesn't break your heart. It's you she wants all along, even while she is sucking the other guy's dong.

I don't think so. They all look like they can suck the camera filled with desire sooner or later. Or blame it on bad cameramen With a limp dick betwwen their legs. If not they show some desire they just won't stay around long enough to hit the DVDs in which my datas are captured from.
I'm just a fan of fourth wall breaking in general. Long, lusty looks straight down the camera lens and dirty talk along the lines of : "Don't you wish I was sucking your dick?" and/or "Don't you wish this was your big cock sliding in my ass?" I'm totally cool with that; don't find it heart breaking at all. Quite the contrary, in fact.
POV. A lot of it is staring at the camera, between genital shots and other porn standards. Or continue getting your heart broken until there's nothing left.
It works for POV angles, but otherwise I hate it when in the middle of a scene the woman starts looking into the camera, rather than at who she is with.
The thing about looking into the camera is that this isn't what you see, when you watch the film. When the lady looks into the camera, then she makes eye-contact with you and looks at you. That's what you see. And you don't see the camera at all. It's as if the camera doesn't even exist. Of course, if you have two cameras, and you show from a side how the lady looks into the 2nd camera, then this kind of thing isn't hot at all. And this isn't what I'm talking about here. The reason why having the hot lady make eye-contact with you from the front-cover works so well is because she shows you her feelings. She looks interested in you. You can see how a person feels by looking into his or her eyes. And how the lady feels is something many porn viewers want to see, when she is having sex with her guys in the film. Because it's her feelings that make it real, rather than acting and pretending, or just mechanical, robot-like action. Her eyes show you her feelings. And she does have some feelings to show, when her guy is nailing her pussy or ass.
As usual you make the mistake of assuming that everybody else is just like you. Your level of suspension of disbelief when watching porn is yours, not everybody's.
Dan, she isn't looking at "you". She's looking at a lens. She isn't interested in "you". She doesn't even know that you exist. If you have your heart broken by someone you've never seen, never spoken to or had any sort of real life interaction, you should probably seek professional help.
Seeing is believing. That's the basic principle on which any movie or video game works. If people truly weren't able to believe what they see, then nobody would watch some of the most popular science fiction movies, such as Start Trek, Dr. Who, and others for example. And these are extreme examples of what most people would believe, when they see something presented well to them. It's true that most porn actresses aren't trained in acting and they can't compete with professional actors and actresses in mainstream movies. But I'm not talking about acting here. I'm talking about people showing their real feelings to the viewer by looking into the viewer's eyes through the camera and through the screen. When a porn actress looks into the camera, then she knows that this is similar to looking into the viewer's eyes. And this knowledge makes it a human contact for her. It takes some imagination for the porn-actress to see the viewers who aren't physically there. But people are perfectly capable of such imagination. Only an animal wouldn't know what the camera is for and would look at it as an inanimate object, rather than as a way to make contact with other people. But porn actresses aren't animals. They are just as human as you and me. Which means for them looking into the camera is similar to looking at their viewers and making eye-contact with them. The fact is that many porn-covers nowadays show hot women looking straight into your eyes. This clearly works, or else porn-makers wouldn't be doing this. And I see no reason at all why this photographic technique can't be extended into the porn movies themselves and show it live instead of just in still picture on the cover. Here are some examples of porn women making eye-contact with you through the camera lens and through your screen: Stacked 2 Anal Sweetness Booty Talk 2 Seduced by a cougar 20 It's pretty hard to get animals to look into the camera like this. Because animals don't understand that the camera is a communication device. But with people, this is very easy to do. And I see no reason why porn-stars should behave like animals with the camera and not look into it the way animals not look into it.

You're confusing "belief" with "suspended disbelief" Nobody believes that Star wars, Doctor Who or Star Trek are real. No one thinks they are documentaries. (outside of very naive children) In most cases people don't even think they are believable, hence why suspended disbelief is typically required to watch and enjoy them. You'll also notice that plenty of movie stars are looking at the camera on movie posters and box covers. And outside of the occasional Ferris Bueller/Zach Morris moment, none of them ever acknowledge the camera during the movie. In porn where the performers are acting out a scene, it doesn't make sense for anyone to acknowledge the camera. So that's just going to be a genre you'll want to avoid. Gonzo style porn doesn't have that restriction but there is no particular reason to make look at the camera either so you'll see it more, but not consistently. What you're really looking for is POV porn where the camera is taking showing you what one of the performers is seeing, or even more than that, look for interactive titles like Virtual Sex from Digital Playground or My Plaything from Digital Sin. But don't assume because a woman on the boxcover is looking at the camera that she will be interacting with the camera during the movie. As you've discovered that isn't the case (and nor should it be)

^Regarding the 1st line of your post. There are those who do believe those things are real. Granted they're delusional, but they do believe it.
^ The main issue for porn makers and porn fans is what works and what doesn't work in terms of entertainment. Real or unreal is a red herring that distracts your attention from the main issue. Which is entertainment, rather than some philosophical truth.
