Hi-I am a newb, so I hope this is the appropriated place to post this... Besides an attempt to satiate any potential foot fetishes, is there another reason porn actors wear shoes in scenes-especially scenes that involve beds?

If you mean high heels on the women, it's because a lot of males find them sexy.
I have come to the point that if I see too many shoes on the boxcovers I won't buy the movie. I want to see the bare feet of the girls all the time. All these heels and boots and stuff are a real turn off for me. I'm guessing there are a lot of anti-feet directors out there. It always surprised me the girls don't put holes in these couches when they're doing RC with their high heels.

Hey thanks for the responses. My curiousity arouse after watching a lot of Jill Kelly Productions material featuring some very large shoes in all kinds of sexual antics. I know men and some women find them sexy...but I wondered if directors just chose to have the girls filmed with shoes on because bare feet look weird on film. I prefer stylish, strappy, stiletto heeled shoes and boots, not too big a fan of bare feet, it's distracting and a turnoff if the chick has dirty feet or noticeable callouses on the balls and heels, etc. I definitely hate the awful porn shoes most stars wear, I think clear lucite shoes are the unsexiest shoes ever made.
I'm at a loss too since I don't find heels particularly sexy in any way and they don't add a thing to the scene for me as a viewer. I don't think the directors are anti-feet, I think its not really a consideration unless its catering to that specific fetish. For the most part, the tall stilettos usually worn in videos make the woman's legs and ass look incredible by popping the muscles up a little. I think that's the primary interest... making the woman look better.

I think a girl wearing heels is more conscious of her body lines. I don't mind seeing girls with no shoes, but they better be extra conscious of keeping their legs in sexy lines. And there should be a point to her being barefoot, as in catering to the foot fetish. Most of the time, even now off-camera, if I start off fucking with my heels on, I'm going to finish with my heels on. It just feels sexy.

I think everyone is overthinking this issue. Maybe it's because the floor in the set is dirty. The shoes keep the bottom of the girl's feet clean.
One of the reasons I watch porn is to see chicks fuck with their shoes on. I know it is just a fantasy, but I think that the girl is just too horny to bother to take everything off. A bit of clothing can also do it for me but I happen to love a sexy pair of shoes.

Ramsely - Would shoes [ invalid url ] be a decent compromise for if the girl wants to wear shoes (or the director wants her to)? The heel is there to give her leg a sexier line, yet it's VERY open and accessible to show off her feet if she has nice feet. It's been a staple of the industry from Day One since, as others here have noted, it's a very common male fantasy (including this male). In general, I find a partially clothed (heels, lingerie, fetish wear, etc.), strategically revealed female body way sexier than 100% nudity.
Shoes can be sexy left on throughout the scene, if they are used right within in the scene. But if the director is going to have her leave them on, they better be seen within the frame for at least half of the scene and not cut off by the lens frame.
