In recent years, why do major gonzo and hardcore porn producers like Legal Porno, Evil Angel, Bangbros, HUHS, American-pornstar.com , DickDrainers.com and the likes edit and cut out the parts where male performers hardly spit on the faces of their female co-stars while they don't carry out a single editing on the more filthier, nastier and degrading parts like rimming, pissing, puking, chocking and the likes? This puzzle and paradox often amaze and confuse me as a hardcore porn enthusiast for over a decade. Any ideas to this somewhat perverted, contradictory and paradoxical latest porn reality?
An issue with the apparent contradictions you cite are that they are presupposed on an idea that your take on what is more degrading or nastier is the gold bar but that's not the case.
I don't care for choking in porn but I find spitting on one's face much less pleasant. I certainly don't claim to set the standard of what's more degrading but our difference of opinion shows the editing team or the censors can be of a different opinion as well.
Perhaps producers don't want to pay what performers demand for the act. Considering current circumstances, were I a performer, it would cost you a considerable sum to get me to let another person spit in my face, quite possibly infecting me with a virus that has the potential to put me out of work forever (see articles on long-term covid19).

Though I do respect and value differences in personal preferences and opinions(as far as gruesome and degrading sex acts are concerned), how come all the major producers reach to this seemingly similar unanimous consensus and conviction?
I can't contribute anything meaningful to this thread but I just want to add that I had no idea that spitting was edited out of scenes (presuming that it was in the scene in the first place).
I may haven't noticed this because spitting in scenes is something that I don't seek out and often avoid. I don't like it as a sexual act at all, but that's obviously subjective.
I'm not going to be able to add much to this thread because I usually avoid spitting of any kind ,even if both performers are into it(at least for the sake of the scene), but I can add the following piece of info that while I don't remember who said it. It might explain why you don't see much spitting in porn as a rule. I remember reading/seeing an interview where a mainstream actor was discussing that getting spit in the face was the hardest thing that had ever happened to him and I would think that's the same for porn performers.
For that reason I have a really hard time believing what the OP is claiming because spitting is not usually part of any porn scene so if one of the performers does it to his/her partner during the scene then the receiver will likely have a visceral reaction to getting spit on and it will require some significant editing to remove the spitting and aftermath and I would definitely affect the flow of the scene.
