Why is it that some actresses seem to be in pain when getting fucked even if the penis is not that big? I understand anal sex can be sore, but can't the producers help them with lube?
I notice it and have for a long time. It really kills the scene for me. It makes it look like they don't like sex. If it is acting, what makes them think that is the preferred "act" to do? I'd rather see them faking "I'm horny and happy and glad to be getting fucked" rather than faking "I'm in total agony".
Oh I missed the anal sex part of OP. Yeah I can believe anal sex can be painful and hence the painful facial expression. There are other threads about lube. Some say they use lube but it's just not visible to the viewer. Some say they prefer to go lubeless. Some say they prefer spit for lube. I'd think lube on a porn set would be a basic requirement along with spare batteries for the cameras and spare bulbs for the lights and extra video tape/memory.
I agree, people in my house when i watch a porn and they yell, 'Iam asked "Is that porn", or is someone being tortured'. I end up having to push the mute button.

I see it in Japanese titles and never understood it. The girls cry out and close their eyes from start to finish. It is annoying as hell. I see no need for any girl to make noise during sex, it comes across as phony city. I watch almost all hardcore with the mute button on and put my stereo on so I don't have to listen to their crap.
My understanding is that women in Japanese culture are not expected to initiate action with their partner during sex, they're supposed to lay there and let the guy completely control the 'event'. It is very close to rape fantasy, but I believe has more to do with male dominance than abuse. Either way, it is all about their cultural norms. It makes for disturbing, and probably comical behavior when a Japanese guy scores with an American girl - neither one understands what the other is doing.

That's news to me, I believe you as it makes sense. No knock on Japanese women, they are among the nicest people I have ever known but I've been with girls who let me completely control the event and it makes for bad sex. And, no, I'm not the reason the sex sucked. I think all guys can relate to this at some point in time.
Perhaps the lube isn't visible to the viewer because the lube has been absorbed by the lady's rectum and is no longer effective in lubricating her. From what I understand, the rectum is designed to absorb water. This is its normal function. And this rectal function makes water-based lube ineffective for anal sex. The water gets absorbed quickly, and then the lube doesn't work. There is silicone-based lube that doesn't dry out, because it doesn't depend on water for lubrication. But it is more expensive. And perhaps not everyone knows that silicone-based lube is the recommended lube for anal sex. One thing is for sure, if you see pain on the lady's face during anal sex, then it's probably real. It's hard to fake this kind of thing. And the ladies have no good reason to fake it. Such obvious pain is due to poorly done anal sex. And film producers should cut out and throw out such episodes, instead of including them in the film. When the anal sex is so obviously bad and poorly done, then why include it in the film and disappoint the viewers? It's better to have a shorter film that looks good, than a longer film that spoils your mood and makes your dick go limp. Edited by - Dan on 3/20/2012 5:44:51 AM
I can't find the post, but the writer claimed it had to do with how a camera works, and the lighting, and how the camera doesn't pick up the glistening sheen of the lube, although the lube is actually there.
