You will find a girl who is very good looking, talented and seemingly experienced and diverse, with good stage presence. Then you find out she only did maybe five scenes, then was never to be heard from again. What happened? I can understand the ones who obviously struggle with being newcomers and then throw in the towel quickly, but the naturals who disappear in a flash I don't get. I've noticed a trend in a way, it's usually common for these types to not have a full stage name. That's kind of a sign that they don't intend to build a reputation, I guess. I dunno. For example they got some incurable STD (e.g. HIV, hepatitis, herpes), got severly sick (e.g. cancer), committed a crime and ended up in prison and so on. But for cases were they "voluntarily" quit I stand by my statement. Most of the time its a new boyfriend or they got pregnant. Even the girls who claim they got religion didn't actually quit because they found the light. A lot of those types were kicked out because they were unreliable drug addicts that directors no longer wanted to hire. Some get pregnant and their suitcase pimp bf leaves them when the porn money stops flowing. At this point they have no income so they go to someone like Shelly Luben's Pink Cross for help at which point they are coerced into doing one of those video interviews talking about the evils of doing porn and how they found the light. A lot of women quit doing porn and just do escorting alone because its easier pay, less time consuming, and safer (i.e. condoms only). Doing porn is just escorting with a camera recording it.
