I know what bigbuttlover is talking about with Acid Rain. The BTS segments I have seen from them have shown me some stuff I truly didn't expect. For instance, we find out in the Ole In N' Out BTS that in the middle of the scene with Alex Devine and Chris Charming and Benjamin Bratt the guys noticed that Alex appeared to have a yeast infection. When Ben told her she looked confused and shocked. And then they continued fucking. I am not really sure if that was something I really wanted to see or not, but Acid Rain kept it in there. I think part of the possible problem with BTS is it can be too revealing and thus kill the fantasy for viewers. I know I never looked at that Alex Devine scene the same again. Then again, they can add an extra edge. However, they can also be interminably boring. I found myself bored by Jonni Darkko's Boob Bangers BTS, which mostly consisted of someone filming over Jonni's shoulder so we got to watch good portions of the sex again from a different angle. The interviews before that were at least nice (piper auston..not piper austin, I learned that much).

From other companies, sometimes BTS segments can be interesting and sometimes they can be mere window dressing. I do enjoy interviews with the girls because it is how you learn stuff about them. And I like stuff that seems spontaneous. I was just watching the BTS on Craving Big Cocks 4 and the director is interviewing Faith, who is naked. Mr. Pete is so turned on and eager to get to the scene that the two of them just start fucking during the interview. The director sits on the bed at Faith's head and tries to continue talking to her ("So, when was the first time you had sex?") and Faith tries to answer amidst moans. It's pretty interesting. Eventually, she stops answering questions, reaches out to start sucking the director's dick, and it turns into a full-blown extra scene where the director and Faith fuck while Mr. Pete films. She looks genuinely surprised at several of his bizarre yet earnest requests, such as "punch my balls" or "bite my cock." Was it truly spontaneous? The several cuts indicate otherwise, where at some point they surely had to stop and figure out her rates if she was willing to keep going with this. Or maybe it was completely staged, just like how Jules Jordan in his Rosebud days used to do stuff like this in his actual scenes (deep cheeks 6 w/TSC for one example) and everytime it looked staged but was convincing enough that you went along with it. Either way, this Faith thing was entertaining.

Now the negotiations of the actual scene--I can't say that I have ever seen anything like that in BTS. However, if you are talking about the money aspect of it I don't think that is any of our business. If you are talking about simply figuring out what the girl was willing to do, that could be interesting.

The girls tend to answer in one of two ways:

1) Bubbly, uses lots of words, highly general answers, lying their ass off.

2) Highly anxious, uses fewer words, highly general answers, lying their ass off, doesn't look like she could be more uncomfortable. I've noticed that these tend to produce cum dodger scenes.

Then again, this is just my opinion, and your experience may differ from mine.

I agree that I really don't need to see the cameramen shooting the scenes. It's okay if it leads into an outtake of something happening, but seeing the same thing I saw in the movie with a guy holding a camera added to the mix doesn't do anything.

These days, the volume of work I do has reduced my BTS to a simpler approach, but none the less entertaining. Typically 4 to 8 minutes long, I pack them with the true "cutting room floor" material...out-takes, fuck-ups, giggle-attacks, accidents, anything that got a laugh on the set, unusually candid moments, etc...

NEVER will you see 10 minutes of the lesser quality angles of the sex scene...pointless make-up sessions...superficial interviews...and anything that makes the talent, producers, or industry look bad.

I've always gotten high marks on my BTS, and I hope you enjoy them as well.
