Being one of the true innovators, best directors and most successful producers isn't something to be ashamed of.

Why does Joone keep his identity secret?
Even his audiocommentaries seem to be altered to keep the real sound of his voice secret.

Does he pursue a second career in mainstream?
Perhaps as a director for commercials?

He supposedly lied to shoot Pirates. Saying he was making
a mainstream film on the pirate ship set. I wasn't aware of his secretiveness.

Joone isn't the only porn director to shy away from publicity. Michael Ninn is the same way, and I remember the days when both Cash Markman and Andrew Blake refused to be photoed (although those days are long past).

We must be doing something right because in February we were able to land both Joone and Ninn for interviews. Both are a bit camera shy but Joone was caught by the AVN photographers when he accepted his award for Pirates back in January. Hard to hide from a camera when you have to go up on stage and make a speech.

I met him inadvertently at AVN and him seemed like a shy person. I think he just wants to go about his business and not be 'recognizable' to the public.
