Indeed, Europe does have a different sexual culture. Our girls and boys get into porn for various reasons I would say. The above mentioned (as miknecht claimes for the USA) are no mayor reasons in Europe. Here, as I would guess in the USA too, they go into porn because they have to earn money to live. Porn money is easier money than with a lot of other jobs. If you dont mind sex on stage its certainly not a bad job choice.
But let me stress again: IMO there are a Tousand reasons why you and I, porn stars and porn directors, etc. do what we do. Funneling it down to chieldhood abuse, drugs or greed only is just perpetuating <old traditional preconceptions>.
