Uncensored porn is still illegal and taboo in Japan and therefore most studios prefer not to do it. That and most of the Japanese performers don't want to because it could make them pariah to the lucrative Japanese porn market. I think the more extreme types of porn made in japan is just a response to the strictures imposed on their pornography in general. Viv Thomas' work is often better. One thing I also find is that in Europorn the girls don't smile or laugh or even talk much plus there is no where near the variety of body types and looks as you get in US porn. Liza Del Sierra mentioned in one of her videos for Mason that in Europe she was called 'fat Liza' and told to lose weight. They seem obsessed with a pseudo-mainstream model look there. Even back in the days of the classics although the women were gorgeous the male performers and temperature of the scenes left a lot to be desired. Only Lasse Braun's films seemed to capture that free love feel you saw in US porn in that era. Plus, I would dare to state that some of the scenes were even erotic, since there were many kisses and caresses, but not all. Though it was not the first time that has been done, it looked like an American pornographic invasion in Europe. It has been done again in the past (Anabolic, Buttman and others) I honestly believe that this is a move that many American companies and directors should do. It is not easy, I understand, the expenses of transportation and accommodation are significant, but I really think that if they manage to find a smart solution with these problems, there is a huge sexy female repository that awaits here, ready for great shows. In the same spirit it would be great to see for example American starlets playing in European scenes. Bobbi Starr, Dana de Armand and a couple others made the step already. I hope we see more. Imagine Adriana Chechik, Kagney Lin Karter, Jada Stevens, Veronica Avluv and other girls in a LegalPorno scene (I am talking about American girls who are able to take the extreme pounding of course). It would be an interesting match. Marc Dorcel, Harmony and Private though seem more "logical" option. PS. Gangland (incl. Gangland Creampie) must be one of the longest series in the history of porn. However it was not uniformly directed. The videos of the series that Lucy is referring to, are just a few from this series and have the same pattern and even the same male talent with Sineplex ones (in this video none was American except the owner company).
