He's listed as black on every site. All his movies are in the interracial category. Hes clearly an light skinned afro latino. Whenever a girl works with him a big IR goes up by their name. The industry says hes black, i thought the girls went by industry rules.
But all women who wouldn't touch a black guy, have or have no problem doing scenes with him. Whats the big diff. between him and lets say sledge hammer, skin color wise?...looks exactly the same if you ask me.
or this guy
bc
vs
Ramon here
Another is D. Snoop, hes so light amy reid made a mistake and put his penis in her pretty little mouth. He is black though.
Point is ramon would be a light skinned black guy in all parts of the world.
There are black guys even lighter than him, my brother is one. The guys i named have the same color or even lighter.
Black, white, green, yellow people..porn women/men, can you clue me in to why hes not black to you?

And here we have the reason why IR is such a stupid designation in the first place. The fact that a girl can even put it (or not put it) on her model card is ridiculous, as we see above in your example.
It should be noted that of all the porn markets, it is only in the US that girls even have the option of saying "no I won't fuck black guys". Everywhere else it's just a given that porn is porn; if you fuck guys then you fuck guys, regardless of colour.
You could see this two ways: either the US porn market is more concerned with personal choice than the rest of the world (*cough* horseshit *cought*), or the US porn market is more racist than the rest of the world.

that's a good point
I was going to ask how many Canadian girls won't do black guys, but I forgot about Nikki Benz.

Yeah i agree, i wonder what would happen if the dodgers had no choice on rather the guy she had sex with is black or not. If ir wasn't on the dance card.Especially when the latin, indian, and asian chicks say they wont do it. Im like every scene you do is IR. I wonder would they quit.
I forget who it is but its some chick from the south on here, who talks about shes not into black guys, but did a scene with ramon. Im from the south and ramon would be just another black guy to any white girl i ever known down here.
In the u.s.a they should just stop saying IR and say no black guys, it would make more sense. If there were no black guys around, it would be one big orgy. Replace black guys with latin, asian, indian men..ect. Any none black men.
There wouldn't be one girl who wouldn't work with them.
Most these girls travel to japan and work with asians. I don't know if they do, but if mexico has something set up, they would go have sex with all the mexicans.

Ramon can't be black because Jenny Hendrix did a scene with him ;-)

Yup, she's about the only one, and that's probably only because she works in the US. In the porn markets in Canada (mainly Montreal, and some Vancouver) IR isn't ever an option. It's just "do you do guys or not?"

Is he black or just partial? Because if one parent is white and one is black then you are mixed not just one or the other.

^So those girls should be putting on their model card, "half-IR"?
Whether he's half or full or three quarters, the whole thing is still pretty fuckin' ridiculous.
[edit: maybe the girls should put on their model card something like "I'll fuck any guy of any race, unless that race is African-American. But even then, I'll make an exception, so long as he can prove that he has some non-African-American ancestry". It doesn't have the same ring to it as "I don't do IR", but it might be more accurate.]

It mainly depends how you look at it, a lot of people just apply black to any person who has some black in them while others can just call them white or go with mixed. It may be silly distinctions but thats just how people are.
Just show a girl a picture of a guy and let her say yes or no, and forget the whole race thing.

^Sure, but statements like that completely avoid the topic of the very large number of non-black girls in the American porn market who refuse to do scenes with black guys. You can avoid it if you want to, but that doesn't make it go away.

^Take one yourself. Go to all the model websites (LA Direct, Goldstar, Adult Talent Managers, Lisa Ann's Talent Management, World Modeling, Type 9 Models, It Models, etc.) and see how many have "interracial" checked on their model cards.
Not that many.

Yeah, there's like one site that combines a bunch of agencies
and when you click interracial, about 60-65% of the girls disappear.
Add up every single agency, that probably goes even higher.
Oddly enough, I noticed latin women are bigger dodgers than all
other groups. No wonder most interracial latin movies are shot in
Brazil.

Yes ramon is half but in this industry, if you are mixed with black, You are black. Lacey duvalle is mixed black girl but is only listed as black. You can apply to the real world to. Obama is mixed but is only seen as black.
Ryaan Reynolds is a mixed black girl who wont work with black men. She is very ashamed of being mixed with black, but she tries to pass off as just an asian girl but the industry wont allow it. She is listed as black, nothing she can do about it.
Sledge hammer and shane diesel are mixed but those same girls who will work with ramon, will not touch them. I mean they're the exact same color. I bet if they were listed as latinos instead of black, The girls would easily hop on top of them. Show the girls a picture, i don't see how they make a difference between sledge, ramon, and other light blacks. More like, just tell them, "No! hes not black hes spanish." Im sure they will go for that one every time.
Rico strong and jack napier are actually black puerto ricans but mason storm, also a PR, wont work with them. Discriminating against her own people.

I really do think its stupid to just go with the one label for people when in a lot of cases you can really tell someone is obviously mixed, hell some mixed people look white and I never would of guessed they were mixed unless I saw them say it.
I would say get rid of the whole IR thing because it is very inaccurate but there is a market for material thats promoted as IR so its hard to say just drop it.
But it does annoy the crap out of me to see half of a person thrown away cause their skin is a little darker.

While we're on this subject, not that it really makes a diiference but here are a few things I can't quite figure out....
What's the deal with Valentino? I see him in lots of IR movies and even the ones that have "black" in the title but he doesn't look black at all. There's another male performer that stars in about as many IR/black male movies as Valentino but I can't think of his name at the moment. Is Valentino really black or Latino or both?
It seems that whenever someone asks a girl in porn what nationality she these days she lists at least 3 to 4 nationalities. I guess it's the latest trend. Which leads me to ask...
Do you consider Havana Ginger black or Latino. It seems that when she was Mika Brown she was black but Havana Ginger seems to want to lean towards Latin. She stars in both "black and "Latin" movies. It really doesn't matter either way but I was just wondering what some of her fans see her as.
And if you remember Tabitha (I miss her) did you think of her as black or Latin?
When Jake Steed was in the biz some people said he performered with some white girls that wouldn't performer other black performers because Jake was very light skinned. Do you think Jake was in a similar situation to this Ramon guy being discussed here?

^Yeah I was just thinking the same thing!
@Draxxx: the industry is FULL of people being attributed to whatever race suits whoever it is making the box cover, or booking the film, or whatever.
Like Kat being in as many Asian films as Latina ones. Hey maybe she's half-Asian and half-Latina, I don't know. But for the purposes of those movies she's always all-Asian or all-Latina, whichever genre it is.
I'm sure you could think of tons of other examples if you wanted to. But why torture yourself?

For what it's worth - Valentino's ID says he's Caucasian.

Friends -
Some of you may not be aware of the First Rule of Identity as it historically pertains to race in America.
One drop of chocolate, and it's chocolate milk.
If somebody in your ancestry hopped a fence and snuck into the slave quarters six generations ago, and the result is part of your lineage, it doesn't matter if your mother is Charlotte Stokely, your father is Marilyn Manson and your skin is so transparent we can see your circulatory system, the Mensas here have already made up their minds as to what you are.
Welcome to the 'hood, my soul brotha.
Smile.

Omg the "whats up with IR dodgers" topic comes up all the time here on adt it seems! lol!
I find it hilarious, ridiculous and as said before for the most part just plain crazy! But then again racism is breed from ignorance anyway right?
I could not even give a damn about IR before, it was only when I started getting sucked into the whole, "dude YOUR asian!" stuff that had to sit up and actually listen to some of the crazy shit people go on about. I even had to start to try and understand the attraction and mentality of the IR fan so that I could try and steer my product towards them.
The only reason I ever started paying attention to what is classed as IR porn is because technically any of my stuff would come under it. No! wait before anyone goes there, no I DONT think I'm black or trying to be! My porn is interracial however and it is hard to say anything against that right? Lol! But when I am looking at marketing plans for my website it does beg the question of where do I fit in? Common sense says it is IR, however the US market seems to be convinced only black on white is IR!! Ha ha no room in the inn for this niche?
Oh well, going off topic slightly there. This brings me back to Ramon then, in any case the IR dodging ladies dont really have an argument do they. If they have worked with him then they have done IR. fact.
It just amusing that anyone even gives a shit about color, it's just people, fucking! lol! The thread topic reminds me of being on set with an american actress from la direct who was grinding balls deep on my cock during a water break...
She said, "Keni your the first asian guy I have ever worked with!"
I said, "Cool! So is this your first interracial scene then babe?"
She stops grinding momentarily, "Er NO..this is so not interracial babe... I dont DO interracial... silly"
I was kinda wanting her to keep grinding so my answer was "Oh really? Ok then! :D"
Why isn't Ramon considered black by porn women? = Cos there are a lot of "silly" girls out there? Bless em! :D

BSD;
Being a man of the world whose intellect knows no boundary, especially artificial ones, I'm sure that you are aware that ground zero for the birth of mankind was central Africa and spread from there. Chocolate runs deep in us all. So I guess we might say that Valintino's id would be incorrect, along with Charlotte Stokely and Marilyn Manson.
BTW chocolate it is also one hell of an aphrodisiac.

@Clam Digger: I don't think that BSD was claiming the idea of "One drop of chocolate, and it's chocolate milk" is actually true. I think he was making a statement on the history of racism against blacks in the US, where it was often claimed, even as recently as the segregation-era South in the 60's, that if you had any known black relatives, you should be subject to the same lack of rights and privileges as other blacks. The phrase "one drop of n____er blood..." is one that still runs chills through the spines of older Southerners of mixed race, as it doomed them to a life as second class citizens.
Once again, I feel like your continued insistence on us all being descended from the same place, while factually correct, inadvertently dismisses the plight of people who have been subject to certain specific (and very real) acts of racial discrimination.
I think it would be helpful further to note that BSD, mbmalpha and myself all know that in reality ground zero for everyone was Africa. It seems a little bit like you're trying to convince us.

killbillvol69;
BSD is certainly one of the best writers, if not one of the wittiest posters on this forum, bar none. You do his words a disservice trying to explain them.

I think it better for you to explain yourself, because I have read your post, perhaps a dozen times and am still trying to figure out WTF you are talking about, especially as it pertains to me or my posts or whatever you think my continued insistence is.

@Clam Digger: I started to write a post to better explain myself, but I realized that unless I knew exactly where the confusion lie, I would have to rehash almost the entire thread. Perhaps you could help me out by going through my post and explaining precisely which parts of it confused you, and I can address them specifically.
I appreciate your specific mention of the "continued insistence" phrase, and I will explain that; but again, I need more context in terms of what you did or didn't understand in the rest of the post before I can know exactly how to explain it.
Thank you.
