Between the fact that Palin has continued to hog the spotlight, and how uniquely perfect Lisa Ann is for the role, there was an alignment of the stars that is unlikely to recur in our lifetimes. Once the curtains closed on the Republican farce, Act II (the general election) didn't offer much comic fodder. Obama's first primary performance comes to mind. The most noteworthy event of the general election-- an event that was timed perfectly to be the climax of any recounting of the election-- was tragedy, not comedy. Are you really going to joke about Obama's meeting with Christie after Superstorm Sandy? |
