The one thing I can not teach is how to keep your dick hard with me behind the camera and a girl spreading or sucking your dick. That's up to you and your genetics, biology, whatever the fuck it is.

The cliché about asians having small dicks is the same one like blacks having big ones. I only had black cocks on camera and most of them were big. That's why they hire them. If you look at credible penis size surveys, the differences between the various races are rather minimal. If Caucasians average 6", then Asians average around 5.5" and blacks around 6.5". Penis length is a bell-curve distribution, so yes, you can find black guys with 4" penises and Asians with 8" penises; both will be rather rare.

I don't think the lack of Asian men in American porn should be looked at any more than an apparent lack of Asian guys who are motivated to be porn stars. If you have a relatively small population coupled with a widespread avoidance of performing, you simply aren't going to have a very big talent pool.

An Asian mystique? I suppose there is, but there's a mystique about every ethnic group for someone out there. I couldn't figure out what it was that some of my girlfriends dug about Asian guys, but I certainly wasn't complaining.

Maybe it's a cultural thing. Most Asians tend to be on the quieter side or with a calm demeanor.

I'm an absolute rarity in this industry where there are few male Asians either in front of the camera or behind the camera. But then again, nobody ever accused me of being quiet or being calm. I wish there were more Asians in the business and will help facilitate it as long as people are qualified.

Regardless, I personally would like to see more qualified black performers than anything else. I do the occasional interracial scene here and there but to me there's nothing in America more cool than a big black dick going into a tiny white chick. In terms of pure marketability and the type of scenes I want, the great black male performer is on my number one wish list.

Of course, helping to develop a good Asian performer would make me feel better about the tofu and kimchi I eat daily too. :)

Looking over this thread.
1)bunch of horny Asian guys who for the most part don't want to try getting into the business. Well one guy did, but he seeemed to disappear after Chico said that he's give him a tryout.

It occurs to me that Asian culture trains males to be very aware of how their actions reflect on their family/community. That pull tends to be stronger than for people with roots in more individualistic cultures.

I suspect that females from Asian cultures have more opportunities to break from their own cultural constraints of being very aware of how your actions reflect on your family. IE...there are more who hooked up with a non-Asian guy and left their home culture behind to a certain extent.
(though Asia Carrera is half-German I think so maybe it was her mom who broke off)

There are other reasons as well. I do think there is an American cultural fear of emerging Asian men...ie...they make more money, are better educated...may be much better sexually since they have a cultural imperative to please others first before they worry about their own pleasure.

Now think about how many Asian men live on this planet. More than 2 billion Asian people live on Earth. If half of that are men, that leaves 1+ billion. Now how many of these are actually included in experiments and studies? 20? 50? 100? Add the small sample sizes together with the complete unrandomness of the samples and you have one seriously problematic study.

Anyways, that's it for me on this topic! Having grown up in an area that's culturally diverse and at least half Asian, where Asian men are successful in all facets of life including dating, sports and other "macho" activities, I never imagined that folks could actually buy this small penis stereotype until i went to school in the East coast. Man was i in for a shock!! Here i was, my whole life, thinking i had an average 6 incher and to be told that WOW you're big for an Asian....man it was hilarious!

Who knows. Maybe penis size is genetic and varies by race. For some strange unknown reason, Asian men are cursed with small dicks while white men are blessed with big ones. Maybe some Darwinian theory predicts that big dicks arent a positive evolutionary trait in Asian society and thus there was no evolutionary bias towards them while for whites and blacks, big dicks are evolutionary favored. look, there are more dwarves in US porn than there are Asian males. I'm sure that there are a lot fewer "little people" in the US than there are Asians. Of course, the little people could happen to be an unusually large part of the porn market and buy thousands of DVDs/year.

My suspicion is that Asian males are a disproportionate portion of the actual porn market for a variety of reasons.
One being that there is shame about being a porn star, but there is much less shame about actually having or watching sex in Asian culture. Besides there's the whole world market. Distribution isn't just the US.

I still say, there's fear that once the American public starts seeing that Asian men on average are better sexual performers, as in they do a better job satisfying the women they are with, it taps into longstanding fears that all their women will seek out Asian guys.

One of the differences between American and Asian cultural conceptions of excellence is that one is obsessed with the size and power of the equipment while the other emphasizes the skill and purity of the operator. Hence one culture invented the Action movie filled with explosions, high tech weapons, etc. The other created the martial arts movie with the lone spiritually pure hero who triumphs with bare hands, feet, and superior technique.

Asian martial arts movies have found a huge audience in the US. Asian-porn conceptualized in an Asian way with an Asian-male star might also find an audience.
