Has anyone heard of plans for an Asstraffic DVD? I'd be all over that. Those clips are great relative to most internet stuff, but they're still pretty choppy when I transfer them to dvd+r. I think original content like that at DVD quality would fly off the shelves.

I remember seeing dvds like that from another original-content site but can't remember which.

I would think with some of the pissing and milk enemas that go on they might be heistant to put it on DVD for distribution.

I read a while ago from the webmaster here that they had plans to release stuff from allinternal.com and asstraffic.com on DVD but that was a while ago. I also would like to see their work on DVD.

I'd be happy to buy them straight off the site if they can't get them distributed. Some of the best anal scenes in my collection are off that site and there's no way to get them at full quaility?

Doesn't their site claim that they give you full DVD quality?

The image quality holds up, it's the framerate (fieldrate) that doesn't cut it. How about nice, interlaced NTSC video that my home dvd player will play smoothly? THAT'S what "DVD quality" should really mean, and that's what you'd get in a physical DVD that hasn't been compressed to mpeg 4 for download.

the funny thing is this:
With one of the latest RLD titles I bought
"1 in the stink 1 in the pink #5"
it happened that the video showed artefacts and blocks that one might only expect from a compressed MPEG.

Could it be that in order to get more material on a DVD the producers make the most of the DVD standards, i.e going with the smallest videorates allowed?

This happens on so many RLD titles (maybe Platinum X also) and is the reason why I don't buy any stuff from them since over a year now. Why was the DVD made for? I think for better quality, not for seeing artifacts and pixelation. I've never see this on any Evil Angel release, but that's a company who cares for the customer.
