has anyone noticed the lack of dp scenes in porn the last 4 or 5 years. it use to be every other scene involved dp. now you have to really search to find a new dp scene or themed movie. economy maybe ? cant afford to pay extra guys so 1 on 1 is just cheaper? newer porn stars just not willing to do it for some reason maybe ? i am disapoint as i am a big dp fan :( and believe i am not alone in liking it as everyone i know enjoys viewing it as well.

Pretty obvious - DP costs more and there is no sales increase.
Yeah, I like dp (and gangbang) also. It's probably like many say, it costs too much $$$. If it keeps going this way though pretty soon a porn movie will be just a girl doing solo.
I understand adding a second girl adds to the cost, but a second guy not so much. But, it does double the wood issue and it means just one more performer to deal with. GBs are a different issue....I'm guessing things start to add up pretty quickly.
yeah i kind of thought it was virtually a nothing cost to add another male. they make considerably less than the females but i guess if you pay some schlub 50 bucks he will not be able to hold out or stay hard hence why he is working for the cheap rate.

I'm not sure if you watch much porn shot in Europe, but it seems to me the majority of stuff I have viewed contains at least one or more dp scenes.

Sure, the guy might not add too much to the cost, but the act itself drives up pay. Both guys usually get paid a little more because they have to be two guys who can get it up without having homophobic issues come up, and then there's the girl's rate. A DP scene pays, for the girl, usually more than double the rate of a standard B/G scene. Take a look at Kink.com for their price list if you want a better idea of what kind of cost goes into paying people to do a scene :)
You bring up a good point about the Euro porn. This raises a question. How can the Euro-porn companies afford it? Is the economy better in Europe or do the performers work for less there?
