Hollywood makes illusions, such as the illusion of sex. Part of the illusion is seduction and kissing; hence, resources are devoted to making it seem convincing. In porn, however, the aim is to show real, explicit sex. There might be a kissing chemistry between the porn performers but it's often considered redundant by directors. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of it ends up on the cutting room floor.

Look, I think it would be great if there was more kissing in porn movies. Anything to add to the sex would be great. I'm all for convincing, sensual kissing, whether it's male-female, female-female, or male-male.
Yeah, it's a shame all the market-savvy professional pornographers are editing out all that hot, can't get enough of each other, pornstar kissing and leaving it on the cutting room floor.
