It seems like porn would be an obvious place to use such items, but I can't recall ever seeing one in a porn flick, either as a product-placement ad gambit or in incidental use. Seems like a natural fit to me; if I saw something being used and thought it might be fun to try, I'd at least check it out. Any ideas on why we don't see any such product placement in porn? As an aside, I once read of a neat trick I always wanted to try: Get a chaise lounge, the kind with the plastic bands that form the surface; duct tape the bands together in the appropriate spot to create an opening in the chaise; have the guy lie face down on the chaise with his dick sticking through the hole; and have the woman administer a blowjob from underneath. Never seen anything like it in porn, so I thought I'd put it out there. [Link] |

For me, the less the better. It would effect camera angles, and have a generally invasive presence in movies (can't cover up or obscure products/logos etc). In truth though there is some of this that thankfully plays at lower levels, I've seen many end credits where the lingerie/dildos etc. are credited to a particular company or supplier. Unfortunately, it'll no doubt permeate into every aspect - It kinda does make sense from the viewpoint of advertisers. This thread may give people ideas on how to further ruin things with advertising. [Link] |
