I'm not much of a fan of excalibur myself, while they may be cheap sometimes, their sales seem poorly marked whether you are getting a new/complete item, or something that is disc only. Customer Support seems equally poor on dealing with these issues too. I will no longer use them after my last few orders because of some bad experiences, too many other sites offer much better service with clearly-marked products. I don't enjoy playing Russian Roulette with my money.

Have ordered a great deal of product from Exc.
They will often have product that is not available anywhere else.
Shipping is slow. Usually around two weeks or longer.
Have had good service. Good slow service.

Why do they hate us? It goes back to an incident that happened about 10 years ago that I won't elaborate on. At any rate they aren't the kind of store that we would want in the price search. Over the years there have been too many complaints about them.
However, if you're willing to wait they are often able to source movies that no other company sells. I don't know how they do it.

This seems to be as good a thread as any to ask this qusetion:
I would like to purchase a copy of "Dixie Ray - Hollywood Star" , and the only place I can find a copy is at Excalibur.
But! On their site it says the following:
What the hell does that mean? If I order it am I going to get a DVD-R as opposed to a DVD?
I am starting to think I should just buy a membership to CaballeroClassics.Com and just download the film as WMV files.
Thoughts?

It means you are going to get a DVD-R.

DVD Pacific, Adult DVD Marketplace, VCX and Orgazmik all have it available.

That's part of the reason I will *never* recommend Excalibur to anybody ever again. I fell for one of their things labeled along those lines once, and their support didn't do much but say "Too bad." So many other sites don't lead people astray with poorly-labeled product descriptions used to deceive.

I second Flash's comment.
Ex Films has shipped a LOT of DVD-R's to me.
Reliable source, slow to ship out.
All play just fine.
Just bugs me.
