why porn dvd titles are not using daily newspaper for advertisement purpose?
i can see Rated R movies advertisements in newspaper, why not porn dvd titles?
Best Example: i recently saw Rated R movie Wolf of wall street in newspaper as advertisement.
even rated r movie contain nude, porn also contain nude.

Adult titles used to advertise in some papers in the 70s. I am rather sure most publications won't publish advertisements for them for fear of backlash. Nude scenes and graphic sex are two different things.

Yes, I remember when adult film theaters used to place ads in newspapers, listing the names of the titles playing.
Imagine a classic feature title, shown in an I-Max theater these days!
Sadly, those old theaters may never return.
I remember the comedian Howie Mandell, telling a story about the times him and his buddies would go to those adult theaters, armed with a squirt gun, loaded with Jergen's lotion.
They leaned forward, squirted the back of the neck of a raincoater, a few rows in front of them, and let out a loud moan.
Hilarious!

I don't really see why they would need to in this day and age.

One reason we don't see that many NC-17 movies being made is because most papers and magazines won't carry the ads for an NC-17 movie and without the advertizement those movies have a very hard time making money because few people know they're out there. So filmakers avoid making movies they know will get that rating. So if papers won't carry NC-17 ads, X-rated ads are totally out of the question.
I'm guessing when people say papers used to carry porn ads it was during the era of when they played in theatres and had tamer sounding titles and didn't sound like like a porno or sound to dirty. I couldn't imagine a paper running an ad for the titles of current porn movies like BIG BLACK DICKS UP TIGHT WHITE ASSESS #7 (just made that up but I'm fairly sure that title exists).
Lastly...ads are a fairly tricky thing. Most people think just having an ad means more people will see it and that means more people will buy it and it will be profitable and the ad will pay for itself. That's not neccessarily true. If a typical porn movie ran an ad in the best selling paper I don't think it will automatically increase sales by much. It wouldn't be worth the cost of the ad. People are already aware of porn and while the ad might get them thinking of watching a porn movie, it probably won't be the movie in the ad and they probably won't go out and buy a porn movie.

Most "mainstream" publications won't touch porn or stuff that sounds like porn. When Kevin Smith made Zack and Miri Make a Porno, he couldn't sell ads to TV and Newspapers because of the WORD Porno in the title.
It's so pervasive in both directions, they won't put ads on porn either, EXCEPT, the Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie Don Jon. He directed it and plays a porn addict. I was clicking around a tube site and at the end of a clip they played an ad for the movie, and an add where Gordon-Levitt was watching internet porn. LOL.
