I think you've named part of the reason. I wouldn't think a lot of them would want their faces stuffed into a toilet.
i have seen toilet stuffing scenes in lots of elegant angels movies that were not s&m scenes, so that cant be the only reason. could it be that the scenes are just to hard for the girls to take? or they are scared of kym wylde?

Lots and lots of possible reasons. My own personal opinion, I don't find the degradation a turn on, maybe the girls don't either.
you both make good points, but again, why did jill kelly, annette haven, missy, nikki sinn and others work for redboard? do any of these girls even know kym wylde.
Well a reason a lot of the women don't is that Redboard tends to make movies that are actually more hard edged S/M then most. These aren't made up little movies these women take a beating and a lot of women just aren't into that.
Stephanie's work for them is a good example since she leaves the set. Katie Gold also walked off during her scene.
Kym is not to be taken lightly and really enjoys her work.
i think you are on to something, kym loves her work and is very hard edge. redboard is for real when it comes to hard edge bondage, and most porn girls cant take it.
From what I've heard, Kym does NOT mess around. Even some of the most hardened bondage subs have left her sessions saying it was too much for them too handle and that they wouldn't be back. Some of them pornstars, some are amateurs.
It depends on the scene. You can tell that in some of her scenes they are taking it easy on the big name performers.
However, the "yelling" as you so put it can be a lot bigger deal then a lot of people realize. I know several professional Dom's who don't do 'verbal' domination (i.e. saying certain things to their clients).
A good example of this is the movie I previously mentioned "Uncut #1". Missy takes Kym pretty much in stride until she calls her something (I can't remember off the top of my head what). Missy goes nuts upon hearing this. You can tell it really upset her.
Pain can be controlled and focused but the damage words can do are a lot more subtle and in some cases a lot more permanent.
I think we get back to the "hard" versus "degrading" discussion again. I love hard. The harder the better. The Melissa Laurens and Venuses and Bridgette Kerkoves of the biz love hard.
Degrading is another issue. I was involved in a very hard, face fucking scene for a Throat Gaggers type of scene. The director wanted us to call the girl "a piece of shit." He wanted her to refer to herself as a "piece of shit." She refused both. I can't tell you how hard we fucked this girl's mouth, which was fine. The verbal abuse and verbal degradation was the problem.
I have never seen redboard work, but it sounds like degradation is the theme... and that is just not cool with some girls. And I TOTALLY respect that.

Since this is a Redboard thread I am hoping that someone can answer a related question. I've never viewed any of their stuff, but am interested in purchasing titles with Annette Haven. Eyeman - I don't remember the year this was made but you are probably looking at the 1998-2002 time frame.
It should also be noted that there are very few Redboard titles out on DVD. Even alot of the newer ones are not done in that format. To my knowledge only 3-4 of Kym's On the Edge series have been converted to DVD (none of which I own).
I only glanced at Redboard's site Redboard Video but it doesn't look like they have made much progress in that area.
