I know the question sounds stupid, but while entering some topics about GG performers in this page, I tend to see many users so madly obssesed with watching these actresses going for the road of the dick, which to me, feels awkward. I mean, I get the reason for this reaction, is exciting to see that girl banged by a guy, but there is a point in which that hard desire to see it turns embarrassing. I'm not the one to judge anyone for what they want, but honestly, that behavouir looks pretty weird. Again, everyone have their own preferences, just saying that turning it into an obsession is not really worth, because, as much as you desire it, that actress won't turn to straight porn. There is points in which I even read people hating the performer for not doing the transition. To me that's ridiculous. I think (just my point of view) that we should enjoy what they give to us and let them taker her own decisions. Maybe, tomorrow, they give us a grateful surprise.

I've never understood this at all. A performer's sexuality doesn't have anything to do with the types of scenes they perform in movies. This goes for all sexes. I've always felt watch the scenes that interest you and ignore the rest.

Maybe they do it because if they find out that she does b/g then it kills the illusion that she is a true lesbian and they can never watch her do g/g without thinking that she is bi and more likely gay for pay. I'm on the opposite end because I find it hot when I discover that what I thought was a g/g only performer also does b/g.

Usually the amount of GG scenes they do drops considerably. This might be because of them now making more money doing BG. Or maybe they start BG because bookings for GG have dried up, info we a aren't privy to, and us GG fans blame their move to BG, when it's actually more complicated.

In the end it's the same as with everything else in porn. You can only hope a performer is comfortable doing what you're into. If they do great, if they don't, there's usually more than a few around the business who'll do what you like on camera.

I like how the last two responses are going for the complete opposite of what the OP is mainly commenting about.

(Full disclosure: Based on the title I also expected it to be about GG-only fans who complain when their precious princesses dare to do b/g, too.)

Yeah, I think I screw it with the title. What I wanted is to reflect in the obsession some people have to watching GG performers transtioning to BG, but unfortunately, the title suggest the contrary. Anyways, I find interesting to discuss this other topic. In my opinion, porn actresses should do whatever they want if that benefits them economically or is what they like. I don't get the fanboys that decides to attack them for not doing whatever they desire.

^ Yup. Fans being obsessed about a model doing BG just creates a demand and when she is ready she finds it easier to find work with studios.

If people are silent and not demanding BG this does not send a good message. It's for the girl to make decision but fans creating demand need to be acknowledged and respected.

On the other hand, people being angry about their beloved girl having hardcore sex on camera is understandable too. You would have to put yourself in their shoes. They developed an emotional attachment that a person just casually enjoying porn won't understand. If anything, it make that girl's sex scenes hotter for me.

I understand what you are saying but, in the other hand, if the actress doesn't want, that demand can be harmful. I remember some performers complaining about this in Twitter. I think actually Jenna Sativa published a tweet a few years ago claiming that she was sick of fanboys questioning her about when she was going to transition to BG when she has always stated that will only do GG. I can understand that for some women is a good strategy to create a demand to launch their careers to the next level, but for others that wants to stay in the same genre, it could be very upsetting to read all the time that messages.

About the other topic, developing an emotional attachment for a woman that you're watching in a screen is just ridiculous. It's like if you fall in love with a fictional character of a movie or a series. It's just ficition, just like porn. The actresses are just protraying fantasies. Nothing is real, even if the sex is. Watching guys complainnig because their favourite performer now want to do straight porn looks to me even stupid (sorry for the word).

This is a case where the woman is simply not cut for popularity her work affords her. All female celebrities have to handle worse things on daily basis. Not just that, almost all of them would be ok shooting sex scenes if story demands it. Now yes these are mostly simulated but imagine them being offended if someone suggested something like that?

You have to understand these are real people that show as numbers on model's feed. Actual people. It is not 'sickening'. It is someone's dream. That's something to be respected.

It's fantasy is exactly why people are fans. Forget porn, tens of millions are emotionally invested in comic book characters. What will you say about that?

Again, people hold their fantasies dearer to them than their daily grind. How is this hard to understand? Emotion is implicit in any fantasy and you should know the kind of bond of sexual fantasy can create.

I'll even go on to say if you feel no emotional connection to girl you are viewing her as an object on screen.

So, you see normal that a porn actress is harassed by others because she doesn't do what they want. To me that's not a fair point. And you think all actresses would agree to do any sex scene??? Really?
The same thing could be sayed of porn actresses. They're real people too and should be respected in every decision they make regarding their careers.
I'm not saying that you couldn't fantasized with whoever you want, just explaining that at the end is just fiction. Of course you develope some conection with the scene and the actress but is something that just concerns in this precise moment. Out of the movie or the scene is reality and that actress is a person with her own life and decisions that doesn't concern you. Being angry because she's doing something you don't aprovee is very mistaken.
Not exactly. When I watch a movie, of course I view her as a person and I can feel connected to her emotions, exciment or any other feeling. But that ends there, out of that place, I only see as a performer doing her job. For example, I love the work of Kenna James. She's a really talented and pretty woman. Her work on girl on girl scenes is amazing. When she announced that she was going to star her career on BG scenes I was surprised, but no angry or pissed off. I respected her decision. Now, I continue enjoying her GG scenes as usual. I'm not affected by that.

I the first half you argue doing BG is big deal to the point someone can be harrassed by simple suggestion of it.

In the second half you argue BG is so innocuous that a girl jumping aboard does not and should not affect us at all.

How are you arguing two conflicting positions at once?

I think my opinion is very clear. The actress has to do her own choice and if she wants to do BG scenes or not is something that concerns her, not the fans. We as viewers shouldn't be affected by these actions, but there is people that really think the actress belongs to them and has to do what they want, which I find wrong.

I came here to say the same thing. I think it's the OP's use of the word 'mad' to mean 'crazy' in a positive sense when most of us read it as 'angry.' Go figure... we read it as 'angry' on an internet post!

I changed mad for obsessed. It's what I wanted to say but the text for the title has a limit of letters and that gave me problems initially.

A Few points:

For the those wanting to see G/G girls do B/G, it's partly novelty; they want what they can't have, and crave seeing a girl do B/G for the 1st time regardless of the quality of the scene. They then get bored and move on to the next "hold out." It's the same mentality with Anal and IR.

For those not wanting to see G/G girls do B/G, it's partly a fear that she will now do little to no G/G: Because usually once a girl makes the turn, they usually hit the ground running and do a lot less G/G, at least for awhile.

But the other major thing is that both groups see a G/G girl finally doing B/G as them being corrupted/tainted. It's the same mentality of deflowering a virgin.

The B/G group tend to find this enjoyable, and don't even consider G/G sex as "real sex' in the 1st place. The G/G group on the other hand now see the girl as damaged goods, and don't want to see their fave performers being "degraded" in B/G scenes.

The reverse mentality also applies when a B/G girl starts doing G/G only. For B/G fans, she may as well be retired.

And I think many companies had done this in order to sell scenes. I remember that this happened with Kenna James in her debut. The website saying this was her first real sex scene because it was with a man.

I understand everything everybody is saying in this thread, I get it, but I will admit that I was very excited to see Georgia Jones do a b/g scene with Mick Blue. I've been a big fan of Georgia for years in her g/g scenes but it was exciting, to me, to see her do a b/g scene (and be great in it).

I don't expect her to do any more b/g scenes and I'm fine with that. I would like to see her come back for more g/g stuff though.

^Hey I get it, there are those types too. I'm the same, there are a lot of hot girls out there that I'm waiting to see do G/G, and hope they are good. I remember waiting for girls like Alina Lopez, Evelyn Claire, and Kylie Rocket to do G/G, and they all turned out great, and do both genres fine.

I'm not criticizing the expectations that people could have about a performer. That's something that I don't see as harmful. The problem is when people is obssesed with it, to the point of believing they are in their right to say what the actress has to do. To me that is the problem, not that you want to see someone something that you like.

Oh, I get that. I find it hilarious when the fanbois cry about a girl not doing anal. They act like the girl owes it to them and they turn on her for not doing it.

^ And then the second her first anal scene is announced/released: "When are you doing DP?!!!"

I mainly watch B/G scenes, but also watch G/G scenes too. It matters little to me if a performer is G/G only or not.

Always feet n ass. In that order.

^It's true that the moment a performer has done anal then she will be asked to do another one and then it's a dp and so on but the most important thing to remember about a situation like that is that if people are asking her to do more videos then it's to her advantage because that means she has a level of popularity and if the demand is high enough then so goes her asking price.

I want to know, why as soon as a G/G performer decides to shoot B/G so many people no longer qualify them as a G/G performer?

Kenna James have been the major topic in the "All Things Lesbian" thread. Im happy for her winning G/G Performer of the Year. I was wanting her to win it so badly. There are those who say that XBIZ got it wrong all bc Kenna is now shooting B/G. Last time I checked, she hasnt stopped shooting G/G scenes. She did shoot plenty of them in 2021 and still have more that hasnt came out yet. She still does amazing work in her G/G as always. Just bc she chose to be more versatile and do more things it doesnt take away from her G/G work.

Some like 'versatility' more than 'purity' and vice versa. Everyone is right from their perspective.

Additionally, some are thinking more from a girl's perspective and what they think is good for her while some are firmly in shoes of audience and, for them, the more categories a performer delves into, the better.

Likewise, some are seeing BG porn as stigma. Some think it's just casual entertainment. Some think it should be seen as art. Whereas for some the analysis is in legal terms, almost totally detached from human emotions. .

Reminds me of six blind men and an elephant.

Checking her page in IAFD, she has done this las year a good amount of GG porn. The two series Written on the stars and Burn so bright in Allherluv, a scene for Slayed with Charlotte Stokely, another with Bella Rolland for Lesbian Analingus 15, four scenes for Girlsway, other one with Mia Moore for Squirting lesbians 4 and one more for The seductive art of massage with Kylie Rocket. I think is well deserved the award.

^^^Only trolls with less than 10 posts think or say that.

Technically, all that has changed is that they are no longer "G/G exclusive", so they've fallen out of the club of the handful of performers who are.
