My home wi-fi suffers from slowdowns and drop outs , the router is fairly new-It's the router location and I can't move it . I could add a a booster or repeater , anybody use one or recommend ?

I've had really good luck with the Ubiquity Unifi access points. I usually disable the router's built in WiFi and use the Ubiquity instead. I've installed seven of these in different locations in the past 3 years. Very impressed with their coverage and ease of configuration.

Anything that uses the Powerline standard. I have a couple around the house that work wonders. Also I use vpn to bypass all restrictions and unblock any website. Useful tool and easy in use. Plus it doesn't cost much.
