I have always considered Brad Armstrong, and the now retired Michael Raven, as the two most creative and insightful adult film directors in the history of porn, next to the incomparable Russ Meyer.
Directors of adult features have a most difficult task, incorporating story lines and dialogue character development, with truly hot sex scenes, and the vast majority fail miserably, unable to perform this "juggling" act.
This has never been the case with Armstrong, however, for I can not begin to count the number of films he has directed, what I like to call "Porn-plus," an adult presentation containing all three of the vital elements, a thought-provoking plot, strong character portrayals and intense sexual scenarios--the "true-trifecta," to use horse betting terminology.
It should always be remembered that adult feature film directors are forced to work with budgets causing any main-stream film director to "cringe" in horror, which is what makes Armstrong's work all the more impressive.--Well, sports fans, "Aftermath," the latest effort from "Brad Brilliant," may just be his best film ever, imho.
Aftermath, is a full three-hour adult film, maybe even the longest porn feature in history, but the action never stops and that includes, dynamic dialogue and plot, which keeps the viewer, "puzzled" until the very end, as well as an abundance of "perfectly- blended," hot sex scenes, enhancing "Aftermath's," provacative story line, throughout.
Not to give away too much of the plot, but extra-special mention must be made for Jessica Drake's "riveting" portrayal of a beautiful, experienced, older woman involved in this highly-charged emotional and sexual relationship with the son of a lover, who died rather suddenly several years ago, and left a big void in her life, which she hoped the young son, with his "familiar mannerisms," might fill.
Tyler Nixon plays the role of the 18-year-old, who seeks out Jessica because of some old photos and letters he found of her and his father, which "piqued" his curiosity, and after locating this "mystery woman in a large city, the sexually charged emotional scenarios "really" begin, as that ever so popular, older woman/younger man porn theme just keeps getting hotter and hotter, during the film's progression.
The young, somewhat naive, Nixon, with his boyish face and smallish frame is the "perfect" contrast to the long, lithe, classic beauty of Jessica Drake, who has always been one of my very favorite adult film actresses, never failing to deliver, porn-plus in her porn screen appearances, and "Aftermath," just might well be this outstanding "sexpian's" (sex+thespianskills) BEST film role, EVER!!
So, in conclusion, check-out "Aftermath," I GUARANTEE, you won't regret it--Just wish, that SOMEHOW<SOMEWAY??, what I like to call "steam-stream," directors, would come to realize, a film technique main-stream directors have known, and UTILIZED for decades, sexy cigarette smoking can enhance so many female character roles, as well as tense, emotional scenarios, with which "Aftermath," is overflowing.
To illustrate the above point, screenit.com, a parental internet "watch-group," reporting on what it considered "undesirable scenes" in the movies (my guide, btw, for what I want to see) found that 20% of all the Hollywood films produced last year incorporated female cigarette smoking characters, setting a bad role-model example for America's youth--In porn, last year, it was less than 2%, and to paraphrase that old, "Wolf Brand Chili," commercial, "When's the last time you saw a hot lady smoking a cigarette in a porn production? Well, that's been just too damn long!!!!"

My last post left out my wish that somehow/someway!!!, what I like to call "steam-stream," directors would come to realize, and utilize a screen technique their main-stream counterparts have known and used for decades--cigarette smoking can enhance the sexuality of so many female character roles, as well as lend a natural feel and flow to tense, emotionally-charged dialogue scenarios, of which Wicked Picture's "Aftermath," is overflowing!

^Maybe but cigarette smoking is not something any movie or TV show should promote or glamorize. Enough people die each year from cigarette related deaths that in 2014 the last thing anyone should do is have scenes with people smoking.

I've heard that Jessica Drake is finally doing some decent oral and gags and gets a bit sloppy and takes some mild face fucking. I can't imagine it's up to Mike Adriano standard, but I'm looking forward to finding out!

Pat mentions the last thing any film should do is promote or glamorize female smokers---Does he really think that some adult female, seeing a sexy shapely porn star lighting up and smoking a cigarette in an adult film presentation, will say to herself, "Wow, that sure is sexy," and then, run right out to her neighborhood 7-11, buy a pack of cigarettes, and suddenly, take up smoking for the first time in her life??
Now, I realize the sight of popular movie and TV stars smoking cigarettes, might have an impact on impressionable teenagers, but I would think it would really be "reaching," quite a bit, to think, as implied by Pat362 , that a dramatic increase in smoking among adult females would suddenly take place as a result of watching adult film presentations containing scenarios with female smoking character screen portrayals.

Another "kudo," for this outstanding film, should go to the owner of Wicked Pictures, Steve Orenstein, a man who continues to give his financial support to rather expensive porn feature film projects, such as "Aftermath," instead of opting for the much less expensive gonzo genre, that huge parasite which, imho, "sucks," the creative talent out of every screen writer, director, camera operator, editor set/scene/prop designer and performer, involved in adult film production.
