Remember hearing about those? I never saw them at the AEE they were supposed to be introduced at a couple years ago, and I quickly forgot about them. But I just picked up a box of 5-card packs for a little more than half of what a Wicked DVD would cost me. So now I have a shitload of new bookmarks.
Anyway, some thoughts, kind of a product review:
*The bulk of them are just stills from scenes, and of course they concentrate on the contract girls, though sometimes someone else will slip in. Somewhat surprisingly to me (though I'm not sure why it's surprising), many are hardcore, not soft.
*There are a lot of Jenna cards. Understandable, I guess. But given that she's long gone, I wish they had included at least a small number of cards for other former contract girls, in particular Serenity, who won a bunch of awards for them.
* The men of Wicked are snubbed as well, but I guess if I bought a five-card pack and one of them was Jonathan Morgan, I'd be pretty goddamned pissed. Still, there was probably a way to work them in with the women -- maybe a "top collaborators" series, Morgan/Serenity, Armstrong/drake or whatever.
*There are bonus cards, but out of the 120-plus cards in the box, I only got three: two autographed cards and one "jersey"-type card, with a little snip of a jessica drake camisole. I didn't get any of the "Lip Service" kissed cards, dangit.
Bottom line, I have no idea why I bought these. I guess I just wanted to look, but I don't really collect stuff like this. They are what you'd expect them to be, but I should have gotten that DVD instead. Don't go on eBay drunk.
