This dvd just arrived (the 3-disc set) in my mail. I gotta tell you, the packaging for this dvd is fantasic - I have just creamed my jeans as a result of the expensive packaging alone.
I now need to regain my strength before actually watching the dvd and giving my impressions.

Energy temporarily restored!!
I really loved this movie. Kind of like "The Fall Guy" or "Walker: Texas Ranger" with hardcore sex.
The girls all look hot in their bounty hunter garb, and they can all act quite well too!
The film has lots of fancy "24" style split-screens and tight frames, and "JAG" style computer printout time and location readings at the bottom left of the screen.
Several interesting rap, martial arts and basketball interludes were nicely interspersed between the sex scenes and story, and a couple of good bait scenes were put in where you think sex has to happen, but doesn't, which lifts the anticipation level and spices the movie up quite well.
The movie starts off with a bang with a surprising anal-only openaing scene with a spectacular facial. What had the potential to be a bad-ass IR orgy was the only real disappointment of the film - only oral with non-existent cum-shots.
jessica drake has a good anal scene. Carmen Hart's b/g scene is also good but all too brief. My favourite scene of the lot was Kirsten Price's b/g scene - I love this girl!!! - where she has sex in a fight-then-fuck scenario whilst in her martial arts training costume - and to the ever-lasting rejoicing of all of us uniform fetishists, she keeps the outfit on FOR THE ENTIRE SCENE!!!!!!!!!!
All in all, it was an excellent movie - the only improvement I could suggest would be the inclusion of a montage sequence - all the best corny tv cop shows have one.
Disc 2: Making of, bloopers, BTS sex reel, girls, five docos on technical and authenticity aspects of the movie, music video, alternate ending.
Disc 3: Interviews, trivia game (answer right and unlock 2 deleted scenes (Kaylynn and Herschel Savage in an anal scene with a messy facial ending, the other scene of Shannen Kelly, a brunette Cassie Courtland and Marcus London), galleries, 4 bonus sex scenes (one with each of the main girls from another Wicked movie), background profiles of the four main characters (3-4 pages each - probably very rare in porn! "What is my motivation for this scene?"), and 10 trailers and various promo material.
I just got Manhunters in the mail last week, and Yes I think I really got my money's worth here. I think all porn companies should follow in wicked's footsteps of releasing dvd's this way. And the movie itself was just awesome. This could compete with almost any b movie mainstream action flick. Good job Wicked!!!!
I recieved Manhunters 3 disc edition today (a long trip from USA to Argentina he he) and I must admit the boxset design is simply amazing. (best ever) The trading cards of the four girls are awesome (I think this is the first time a porn movie comes with trading cards of female performers) I didn't see the movie yet...but in my opinion Wicked has the best packaging by far, and I love Jessica Drake, so I think this boxset will be great.

Oh I don't know. I tire of directors who are stuck in the mid 1980's Lethal Weapon/Die Hard mindset who are simply wanting to make movies where they get to shoot a few guns off and have chicks running around in camoflauge. Why not do something more original and smart and up to date. I saw the ads for this one and I think I'll pass.

Definitely appreciate your input. I'm not sure I would describe it as an overtly 80s feel; if you break it down visually, it conforms more to the direction Tony Scott has been going in movies like Man On Fire and Domino - though obviously on a different scale, given the budgets we're alotted in adult.

Damn, I'm really going to have to check it out. I had this half-brained thought of it being done that way, and hearing that it actually is I'm going to need to pick it up one of these days. Plus it's been too long since I've checked out anything from Wicked...

I haven't watched a porn movie in a month. No real reason, just busy with other forms of doing nothing. (Actually the main reasons are 1) a vacation, and 2) I finally bought all four Futurama DVD sets and have been working through them.)
I'll be sure to comment on this (and Sleeping Around) when I finally get my hands on them.
