Just now I was in the Polls area & the front page said that I was the last poster in the JC thread:

(author/response/view/time/responder)

by Recoil Therapy

Now at that time I was the last one to post to the threadbut it was at 08:16:49 PM when I did so.

It was just odd to see & I was curious as to what happened. Thanks.

Hmmm, now the main page says that Joey Starr was the last to respond at exactly the same time. Going into Polls it shows that Joey posted to the Airline thread at 08:48:13 PM. But when you open that thread, his post was at 08:47:30 PM.

Obviously it is a slow night around the RT household..... .

It's all about the editing. The "Last Post" gives the name of the last person to appear on the thread/forum but the time refers to the last time there was activity on the thread/forum, which may be someone editing an earlier post. In the "JC" thread, you are listed as the last poster because yours is the last post on the thread but the time refers to the time at which DD editted lvp714i's original post. In the Airline thread Joey wrote his post at 8:47 and then editted it at 8:48. The main page list Joey as the last poster in the forum because he was the last person to make an original post, but the time again refers to the time that DD editted lvp714's post.

That makes sense, thanks.
