But NaughtyAmerica has taken on that role for the recent years, starting with 4K videos already in 2014 and constantly evolving. Brazzers will likely go 4K when they can make small enough file sizes, until then it's their 1080 videos they need to fix without increasing the file size.  [Link] |

The Brazzers scenes still look fine to me. And as for technical leadership, NA also was among the pioneers of this loathsome VR nonsense. Not exactly a positive IMHO. You get a screen that encompasses your entire field of view. Like headphones, but for the eyes. It is-in my opinion-nothing special. But certainly very cool and with massive potential for creativity (none of which has manifested yet). And the headsets suck. But, as things improve, 8K will be the thing for "eye-phones". [Link] |

Just plug them into a box like a Walkman or iPhone or whatever. Meanwhile, yeah...8K is useless. Now with 8K and a regular TV screen, things can get interesting. Hypothetically, the viewer could zoom in and pan around. "Be the camera guy." But you'd need a very clever production to make that interesting, and it's still a limited audience interest. And then you could even move around the set, with like a video game controller, but for that the tech isn't "mass market" yet I don't think. [Link] |
