If you haven't heard, numerous government workers, including a senior attorney, used work computers to access pornography thousands of times over the last 5 years. The SEC did an internal pop shot, er, I mean investigation and discovered that those paragons of virtue and defenders of everything decent in the US government are partaking of the very thing that the same government is prosectuing. One of the masturbators, er, I mean perpetrators only got a two week suspension. And yet they are trying to put John Stagliano in jail for the same thing.

Well, not exactly the same thing but I see your point. I have no idea how it will influence the case if at all. But at least the news proves that the public perception of porn is still as mock-prudish as ever, even though everyone knows that everyone watches it.

^"mock-prudish" is absolutely right... then people go to jail for it.
The hypocrisy is shameful, at the least.

Probably not. If anything, the assholes will blame porn for corrupting our wonderful government officials. Obviously, that's the world's biggest joke but it would fly in this country if a newscaster or politician said it with a straight face.
