I started collecting some of her vids both from Vivid and earlier but frankly at this point am tiring of doing so. Anybody know if or when a comp may come out? Also an interactive Lanny disc would be amazing and I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about that yet as she is among the most popular stars right now. While Vivid doesn't talk about the policy change as the reason for their biggest exodus in company history, but both Mercedez and Lexie have been quoted as stating the policy change was one reason they left. But don't worry: Vivid is nortorious for keeping scenes of their contract girls on the shelf for years, and issuing comps of the same scenes over and over again under different titles ("The Royals" "Vivid Girl..." etc.). Ex-Vivid Girls Lanny, Tawny, Lexie and Briana Banks all seem to have opted out of the biz, to name just a few. Thirtysomethings Jenna Jameson and Savanna Samson seem to be transitioning out of the biz. Returning to porn after a year or two off had been a pretty common practice (Sunrise Adams came back in January), but that was because there were few other options for girls once they did porn. Not true today. Today's porn girls, IMO, are figuring out that making hardcore videos for the traditional porn companies is just one of the many ways to make money in the sex biz. Dancing, personal webpages, internet photo shoots, and hosting nightclub events/parties all can earn a porn performer with some name recognition just as much as performing hardcore sex on video. And without the downside of losing boyfriends and family or suffering the health risks of condom-free video porn. Like it or not, it's called progress. [Link] |
