Has some interesting potential but based on past developments I don't think it will have much of an impact.
1) Gimmicky stuff doesn't really seem to catch on in general (look what a flop 3D turned out to be)
2) Usually the porn industry innovates and then those changes move over to the mainstream world, not the other way around.
Certainly thins could be an exception (and a cool one at that) but I don't really see it catching on.

3D failed in porn and the mainstream markets for various reasons, one of which is that lots of consumers were averse to wearing the glasses. Why would this be any different? Sure, we're getting into the generation of wearables and sure, it might fill a small niche but I'd be surprised if this got far past the honeymoon stage and revolutionized the industry.

As much as 3d has improved over the past 30 years , it still does not look as pristine as a 2d image, and that is why it continues to fail every time it is reintroduced.
