Anybody know how I can pause a dvd and get a quality screencap? I have a Desktop HP with Windows 7 and the latest Windows Media Player. Control "I" isn't working- are there any free, safe downloads out there that I can try?
Thanks for any help.

VLC Media Player (free from videolan.org )
Hit Shift-S at any time during playback (paused or not) and it will take a "snapshot." You can do it with the mouse from the Video menu, too.
You can change the directory it puts them in, or the format (default is .png), and maybe other things too, in the Video section of the Preferences menu.
