And today, happily, a few good doctors are picking up where Aristotle left off, and we're finally seeing some studies on female sexual function. Some of them even claim - gasp! - that the G-spot is actually a female prostate. That'll get the OED's knickers in a twist. He once said that the vagina was a penis turned inside out, and women could impregnate themselves. That shows how far-off he was. Of course, trying to be an anatomist during an age where autopsies on real corpses was a crime punishable with death was a little harder, but innocence is no excuse. Da Vinci broke the law, cut out some nice corpses, and now his drawings are still a REAL AND ACCURATE source of anatomic reference.
