I am very confused about your reasoning. Let's say I paint houses for a living. When I am not officially on the clock at work I am wasting my body by painting? Nobody is going to pay me to paint my own living room but I am not a whore because I do it for free. I just want it to be a different color. You can even substitute painting a friend's living room, I still don't think that constitutes whoring. Someone can have sex on camera for money or off camera for free. I guess I don't see the issue. Or if I do, the arrangement is so commonplace in all sorts of jobs that it isn't noteworthy. (see Hardware's earlier post about doing computer work) If I paint your house for free and then because of doing so I get hired more often I think that works out in everyone's favor. You have a freshly painted house, I did a favor for someone, and I get increased business. The house painting analogy might not be precisely right but I used it because it is manual/physical labor that can be done by 1 person. You could substitute many types of work into a similar situation. Locksmithing, auto mechanic, whatever. A mutually beneficial arrangement isn't really whoring. Example: A man in my building owns a large truck which he uses for deliveries at his regular job. In exchange for free parking he takes construction waste and old furniture to the dump for us using the same truck as his other job. Everyone wins. It's just that in the case of porn stars they use different assets. So, I think I understand the point of the post.
