Saw Wonderland yesterday and all the extra material on disc two (it is a 2-disc extravaganza) and I can highly recommend the movie. It is about the murders on Wonderland Avenue (a case that was never really solved, many involved though) that involved the famous porn star John Holmes who at the time didn’t star in any movies and had a hard time to finance his extensive drug use. We follow Holmes (Val Kilmer) and his girlfriend Dawn (Kate Bosworth) cruising around the city to score some drugs, and how they plan to rip of a certain Eddie Nash The cast overall are awesome, and Val Kilmer seems to be on the right track again after a couple of difficult years (none box-office hit in years), just go see Spartan and you will be amazed, and Kate Bosworth is really good (and stunning!). I believe that many of you here will find this movie quite interesting even though is doesn’t mention his active days in the porn business much. Lots of extra material on the DVD set as well, that is really worth watching! [Link] |
