One thing is for sure though. Pornographers need to start exploring (seemingly) innovative ideas like this one because right now everyone is just doing what everyone else is doing. It's led to a creative vaccuum.

The problem is I don't really like using new guys because it's a scene killer. Most of the times, they either struggle through a scene or can't get it up at all or get spongey and you have to take 10 minute breaks for every minute of worthless footage.

And the egos, jesus christ, are just horrendous. I shoot alot of Internet content where I'll use these new guys for BJ scenes but that doesn't always correlate to a good fuck scene.

I tell alot of these new ego-ridden guy that they should learn from Jim Laine or Andre Madness how to fuck because they won't be able to hang on my video shoots. However, if they're adamant, I could usually scare them off by saying if they fail (because they tell me they never do), I will post the entire scene on the Internet.

There's nothing worse than a guy suddenly fucking very robotic and you can tell they've got their eyes closed and silently whispering in their heads "Please Dick, don't lose wood. Just hang in there for another 20 seconds. Please don't lose wood. Please don't lose wood."

Problem is, you can't be too mean to these newbies cause a few of them out of the 100 out there may be the next Michael Stefano or Everhard.

Granted, Chico probably shoots more scenes in a week than I have in my entire career, (Chico probably shoots more footage in a week than I have in my entire career!) but we have never, not even once, had a problem with a guy not being able to get it up.

I think the basic premise is ripe for sure. I've been spending a lot of time lurking on forums inhabited by sexually voracious women in their 30s-50s who like nothing better than a 20something fucktoy. The experienced older woman/inexperienced younger man dynamic is a lot more interesting than the converse, and far more subversive.

If men really knew what women wanted...

No director that I know would let that shit fly on their sets, most especially not for a love scene. I know I wouldn't want to fuck someone, not even Chatsworth's finest hotties, while some hanger-on makes rabbit ears behind the soundman's/director's/my head.

I don't doubt the atmosphere on many, or perhaps even all, sets is 'hard' on a newbies ability to maintain an erection.
If it's at all possible, it might be worth trying to change that a little. Having a bigger male talent pool should be good for everyone except perhaps the guys who are already in there.

It shouldn't be impossible to shoot scenes that, when edited, look like the guys are 'broken in' when in reality they are being eased into it. Surely there is an element of acting in porn.

Anyway, I'm not claiming to have any idea what it really takes to shoot good porn. It's just a rough idea of something that I would definitely check out if someone were to pick it up and give it a go.

It's a whole 'nother story when you put out the rigors of DPs and multiple guy or multiple girl scenes.

I don't give guys one on one scenes unless they do the others for me.

Occasionally, I've enjoyed watching POV scenes, not because I search them out (certainly not because I imagine myself to be the male holding the camera), but simply because A) there's a more intimate feeling to the footage, being as there's no one else around except the director and the actress and B) the director has to actually talk to the actress, being that his buddies aren't around for him to shoot the breeze with.

I stick with my main guys at all times. The new guys I test out on Internet shoots. In nearly every case, the new guys simply can't give me what I want. Too robotic, too much thinking, too woodless, whatever.
