Before answering the question I would like to state something: recently I have been reconsidering which girl is my all time favorite and I got this top 3:
1. Kelsi Monroe
2.Angell Summers
3.Sandra Romain
The reason I chose Kelsi over all the girls (and I don`t think that will change) that I`ve seen in the 7 years that I`ve been watching porn is that she`s got the kind of body that I consider perfect; beautiful face, not really tall, nice boobs, small waist, wide hips and gorgeous ass. So taking all of that into account I reached the question: Would I date a (my all time favorite)pornstar? I know that it is really unlikely but, anything is possible right? I mean, I really tought about it so; if I were dating her at first I wouldn`t try to make her quit her job nor I would be jealous of other guys having sex with her but, here comes the real question: how much time would you and I stand being with the girl you like knowing that she is having sex with others (even if it is her job), I mean one has it`s own limits right?
So at first I would say "yes of course I wouls date my all time favorite pornstar" but on the long term how much would you and I stand her job?
Would you date a pornstar? (your all time favorite, or at least someone in your top 10)
PD: Really think about it and think about the emotional impact it would have in your life if you were dating a girl with a non conventional job?

Unfortunately the real question is: would a pornstar date me?

You're making an assumption that the "emotional impact" of dating somebody who performs in the porn industry is a certainty. For some people, that may be the case but to suggest it's the same for everybody is naive if a little narrow minded. Open relationships or multiple partners are conventional for some people.
What about the emotional impact of dating somebody with a "conventional job" who cheats on you (possibly catching some STD) and denies it or inflicts physical or emotional abuse on you?
As I see it, that your partner in the industry is having sex with people other than you is something you agreed upon happening when you started dating. If she/he volunteered to stop doing whatever act without you asking, fair enough but if you expect her/him to change to suit your requirements, that's more like emotional blackmail than having a relationship - date somebody else where you won't have this problem to worry about.

I get the distinct feeling that the OP is using the term dating but maybe he should have used fucking. Maybe I'm way off but if we are being honest than all we know about any performer is what we read about them here and there and that info is in no way verifiable. That and they have sex for money. I know that a performer is not the same thing as a prostitute or at least once upon a time the argument could be made that it really isn't but these days that line is very thin and in too many cases it's not even there. So shouldn't the question be more like could you date a woman who has unprotected sex with a bunch of strangers who themselves have unprotected sex with multiple people? If you answer yes then I highly recommend you get an appointment with a psychiatrist because there may be something seriously wrong in the way you think.
The harsh reality for your average porn performer right now is that the chances of her not getting an STI are so small that they border the impossible and that means that anyone thinking of dating a porn performer is willing to get an STI (or more than one) while he is with that performer. You couple that with removing an entire part of her life from any discussion because I can't imagine too many guys will want to hear how their girls day went if she has to start talking about all the fucking she did during that day or that she thinks she tore something during the scene and she wants you to drive her to the emergency room. How much sex do you think you will have with your SO if she spent about two hours of her day getting a huge dick pistoning in and out of her vagina and/or ass?
There are a two good reasons why performers have a hard time dating out of the porn pool and why girls with non-porn boyfriends prefer to do solo and g/g. The first I have already explained above and the second is that any girl who can find a guy okay with her having done porn may wan to keep that guy. Especially if he is okay with her still doing solo and g/g. I might be okay with dating an ex-porn performer but I know that I wouldn't be if she was active and that includes cam, solo stuff and g/g. Maybe that makes me an hypocrite to enjoy watching porn girls but don't want to date them but that's life.

Yes I would date probably a dozen of female pornstars on a daily basis. Not at the same time I must say.

Sure, if she's a pleasant person. I wouldn't date a porn star for the novelty of it, but I'm not opposed to dating a nice girl who happens to also be a porn star.

On what basis? The last paragraph of the OP's post suggested more that he was referring to dating/relationships than simply having sex - why (for guys in general) would there much "emotional impact" if you were only having casual sex with a porn actress?

That's easy. Where in his post did you see any mention of what it is about her that he finds so interesting other than he finds her sexually attractive?
Maybe I'm old fashioned(cross that I am) but I would expect that someone talking about who he might like to date would bring up something other than he thinks she's hot and he wants to fuck her. He at least does mention some of the difficulties associated with dating a porn performer but unlike me he doesn't go deeply enough. None of the other replies even attempt to do that.

I married a woman who had been a pornstar. She was gorgeous, intelligent, creative and funny. I was completely in love, like I'd never been before. The sex was beyond incredible. It was more than enough to make me overlook her past professions, and we married quickly.
It wasn't until after the birth of our first child that I really began to understand what I had gotten into. She was full on Borderline Personality Disorder, swinging into paranoid delusions. She claimed her instability was due to abuse she'd suffered as a child, but the history she told me would always change. To this day, I still don't honestly know what happened to her.
The effect was pretty devastating. I tried (and am still trying) to get her to accept therapy. I did 72 hour holds until I realized she would just talk her way out of them. After she assaulted me and ended up in jail, I got a restraining order, and kept it in place for 6 years while I lived with her and tried everything I could to help her through and become functional.
She got worse. She neglected our children to the point of CPS being involved on multiple occasions. She started saying I had been part of the conspiracy to abuse her when she was a child, and that I was further conspiring with people online to make her miserable. According to her, I also had a 2nd wife and family. I lost jobs to stay home and take care of the kids because she couldn't be trusted with them, and she got us evicted 3 times.
After the 3rd eviction, I moved out with the kids. I spent a year and half supporting her as best I could (which wasn't much, sadly, as my career was pretty much in tatters), still trying to get her to go therapy, or get a job, or just do something to take care of herself.
Today, she's on the street. I try to take care of her as best I can, but I can't afford to pay her rent and also care for my children. I get a lovely combination of spite, grudging thanks, and unwanted descriptions of how she's been sleeping around in return.
The sad thing is that I still love her. I don't WANT to love her after all she's done, but sometimes life just works that way. And she's the mother of my children. So I end up scanning the papers and the police logs to see if anything has happened to her, waiting to see if she'll call or text, trying to move on, but unable to because she won't take care of herself enough for me to walk away.

Pat362 I don't think you are a hypocrite at all for enjoying what the actresses do but not necessarily wanting to date them. I actually feel the same way as you. Relationships are complicated and hard enough as it then you add such extreme factors. I think the problem with this is that a lot of guys get enamored with the idea oh I am dating a pornstar that is so cool I am going to have such a crazy sex life and all that stuff but there is more to dating someone than sex. You make the point of her having to basically omit a large portion of her life, and while this might be fine at first after a while this might actually drive a wedge between the two of you because what woman does not want to talk if she has had a bad day or she has an encounter with an unprofessional male performer you can't just respond with "I thought we agreed we don't talk about things like this."
You brought up the point that we only know what these performers want us to know about them, and what they want us to know may not necessarily be the complete truth. The interviews they give, the tweets, the social media, it's all part of their persona as a pornstar. You have to separate that from who they really are, you are not really dating Pornstar X you are dating Girl X and she may not be into things that pornstar x is into. Pornstar X may give an interview where she says she loves girls and doing 3some with her bf and has to masturbate everyday but in reality Girl X might not be into girls at all and might not feel comfortable masturbating at all. Then there would be the inevitable time when she goes to work and does her thing but when she gets home she just is not in the mood she had a long day on set and just does not want to be touched and she is booked to shoot the next couple of days and you know she wont be in the mood to be with you then either and you can't be a jerk about it. That would certainly be frustrating
When you look at it from a certain perspective it is surely understandable why girls in the industry once they find a guy why they are willing to give up certain acts or leave all together. Like you said if they can find a guy who is truly ok with what they do then they surely they would like to keep them in their lives.
The answer for me is a NO but it is a complicated no as opposed to a simple No. I am sure there are great women in the adult industry that would make and do make great girlfriends just not for me. As an aside though a former adult performer I would say I could date while a currently active one a close friend to best friend.

Well, it's my experience that a porn 3 way and a real life 3 way are two completely different scenarios. You have to be completely up for it and bring your A game. You've gone from doing one girl to doing 2 girls and you now have to take care of both of them. You truly have to be up for the job at hand and walk away as the last man standing.

That is exactly what I mean and, that is why I stated my personal all time favorite performer (Kelsi). I mean: I mentioned why I think she is the most beautiful girl I`ve seen in porn cuz it would imply that it would be extremely easy for me to fall in love with her if I were dating her [one can dream right?]. But don`t get me wrong, I`m not saying that pornstars are undateable, in fact I think that it is the opposite cuz most of them seem to be really open-minded and they seem to have playful personalities. But the true test comes when you fall in love with a girl and then you wouldn`t like when she shares intimacy with other guys or girls right? Also you would have to be very good in bed and really skillful when it comes to women pleasure cuz she is used to "above average size partners". For instance if i were dating Kelsi I would like to know everything about her; her dreams, fears, likes, dislikes, hobbies, etc. I would like to know the girl behind the pornstar and, once I do that I would have a hard time accepting her job[but I would never try to make her quit] . What I mean is that the emotional partner of a pornstar needs to be really strong [emotionally speaking] and also he/she needs to be really open-minded to be ok with what she does. So given the situation that "blkknight1" described I would say: "Yes, I would date Kelsi" but it is a complicated yes opposed to a simple yes cuz I would have to get used to her having another sexual partners[although I would be really supportive with her every time she is done working in case she had a bad day].
PD: So: on the long term how much would you hold up her job if you were dating [and in love, corresponded of course] a pornstar?

You make perfect sense and I wouldn't have a problem being friends with a performer but dating an active performer is not something I would ever consider. If nothing else. The health risk is just too high.

You seem like a really nice guy and there is nothing wrong with dreaming but I think your general view of performers is one that is viewed through rose colored glasses. That in of itself isn't necessarily a bad thing but you have put porn performers on a pedestal that they are ill equipped to stand on and frankly don't deserve. I don't know Kelsi so aside from her good looks. What do you find attractive about her? What do you know about her private life that would make you think that dating her would be fun? Now maybe everything you wrote is a fantasy scenario and if that's the case than go ahead but remember that it's a fantasy.

It is indeed just a fantasy and, what I find attractive about Kelsi is that I think she has the most perfect body and face combo that I`ve ver seen [as I mentioned in the opening post].
PD: this thread is hypothetical cuz I really think that even getting the chance to be friends with a pornstar is really unlikely.

^If you don't live in Los Angeles or near it than you are correct that it's probably impossible to even meet a performer but if you do then there is always a chance that you could meet and become friends. I think the key ingredient is that you can't think of them as a porn performers because if you do than you won't be able to ever be truly comfortable with them and in return they won't be able to be comfortable with you. I mean our basic relationship with porn performers is that we jerk off to them. Starting a friendship with that kind of handicap is a little hard(sorry for the pun).

^I think you are confusing fuck buddy with girlfriend. A girlfriend is not someone you cheat on because no one likes to be cheated on so why would your new girlfriend be any different just because she is a porn performer.

i don't know why it should matter if she's a porn star. that is her job, that is like asking me if you would date a woman who works in construction or who works as a meter maid or who works as a waitress on roller skates who juggles hot food while singing o come all ye faithful and shoots flames out of her ass. the pluses of dating a porn star would be she might know how to have great sex. the minuses of dating a porn star is all of your friends are jerking off to her and thinking they have a shot at it too. in the end, it should matter what kind of a person she is. if she's got a good heart and is somebody you have alot in common with, then go with it. if she's a total bitch, she's not worth the time of day, no matter how great the sex is.

Maybe it's presumptuous to think someone who fucks for a living is automatically great in bed in their private life. When she comes home after a hard day's gangbanging, surely the last thing she's gonna want to see is another cock?

i could'nt agree more with that comment. it's nice to think that porn stars are fucking machines, build to suck cock and pound pussy and ass. but i think sometimes what gets lost on people is that porn stars are just that, people. that's why i'd perfer to know them as people, and then if i like them, i'd enjoy their porn better. as if i was dating a porn star, the sex life might be harder than people think (pardon the pun). having sex or making love with her would be a chore consittering if she's tired of dick. plus, it would be stressful on me in the aspect of being sexual repressed.

Being that I respect these women and what they do it'd be lucrative emotionally for both parties. They're just normal people with an "abnormal" job.

I could perhaps date an ex-pornstar but I couldn't deal with dating an active pornstar. I would like to think I'm mature and intelligent to seperate sex from love or to view her being in porn as just her "job" but it would bother me on several levels....the thought of STDs, the thought of so many other dudes being with my girl, wondering if she's getting better sex from her co-stars, and wondering if she's truly able to seperate sex from love.
I'd have to think that if you didn't have a fetish about seeing or knowing your girl is having sex with other guys for a guy to know his girl he truly cares about is banging other guys and be okay with it isn't normal....or at least a different type of love....if it's actually love at all. I think that's why so many girls who don't date other pornstars end up with horrible boyfriends. Those guys don't really care about the girl in the way they would a typical girlfriend and are using them or are caught up in the fantasy of being with a pornstar. That's not true of all pornstars of course but it seems many strippers, escorts, and porngirls usually end up with some losers/freaks/users guys along the way and their lives are constant drama.

Well said, and this is also how I feel. It's pretty concerning to me how people who spend a lot of time on porn sites and following porn stars wouldn't be open to dating one if they were lucky enough to get the chance.

One of my very best friends became a porn actress (and currently is). When I first met her, I seriously thought of her as like the living embodiment of the "manic pixie dream girl" ideal (that supposedly mythical creature you see in indie movies and tv shows, of a free-spirited waif, who flits through life, doesn't realize how hot she is, usually played by someone like Zooey Deschanel etc, -- or Aubrey Hepburn in the old days). There's been a lot of discussion about what a false and unrealistic idea that this person is; it has no basis in real life... but it turns out my friend was exactly like this and it was almost impossible to not fall, hard, for her.
Then after awhile you realize the manic pixie dream girl in her case is pretty much entirely stems Borderline Personality Disorder. What seems incredibly endearing is catching her during her "good" times... the bad times are just fuckin crushing.
I always like hearing Billy Watson on Manojob do his BTS interviews; basically he is intent on finding out whether the girls knew their dad, were sexually abused, or a few other markers that he thinks happen to pretty much all porn girls. In my friend's case none of these apply; stable home, single child of two parents that have been married 25 years, no abuse, nothing.
In terms of dating her; it's definitely out of the cards with myself and her for a million reasons, but if it WERE in the cards I think it would be difficult in her case.. but it has almost nothing to do with her career; it's her Borderline Personality Disorder that would make it tough, I'd think. But who knows... she's a really awesome person and it's hard to not want to be the white knight.
I haven't really talked with the porn girl friends she met, but my impression of them is that in general they are pretty nice, but mostly pretty immature. I don't mean that as a hugely bad thing; it's just that they have found a job that doesn't really force them to "grow up" too much... And for me, immature wears thin pretty quickly.

You're clearly new to this site aren't you? It seems that a vast number of posters here would be okay with their daughters doing porn. They would also choose their porn collections over an actual woman if it came down to one or the other.

No; they are too tainted, since their videos will always come back to haunt everything, especially the girls that do extreme gonzo. Maybe one that only did a few soft core or vanilla scene That's what most of the naive young girls don't understand; once they have made videos, especially the more hard core gonzo, try as they may to avoid it, they will always come back to haunt you. As much as Alani Li would like to "escape", her scenes will always be around, even the more hardcore ones of her doing blowbangs and swallowing all the guys. Much easier to explain away youthful indiscretion when it is only a softcore or vanilla scene, but not harder edged scenes, swallowing a group of guys and fucking so many guys bareback, on screen.. i would fuck them silly, wearing a condom of course and cum all over their face and in their mouth and have them swallow, though ;-) Sorry, don't care how gorgeous and sexy they are.

I'm not. "Dating" and merely having sex with someone are two different things. I guess dating may mean different things to different people but in my mind dating means you're having a vested exclusive relationship with someone emotionally and sexually. I wouldn't date a working pornstar because wouldn't want to share her with other guys. Yeah, it's her job but still at when it's all said and done she's banging other guys. That would bother me whether it was for a porn movie, escorting, or her just banging other dudes for fun because "it's just sex". What other people think wouldn't bother me much but I just don't see myself being able to deal her having regular sex with other guys while she's dating me. If she's a girl that I occasionally mess around with and have sex with from time to time that would be different. But if she's a girl I had actual feelings for...no.

after i read some of the responces above, i shake my head and am ashamed to call myself a human being. it's amazing the power stigma can have on someone or something. she's having sex for a LIVING. plus, i'm under the asumption that most of these women CHOSE this profession. i don't get what the difference is in between a porn star, a janitor/janitress, a plumber, a animal control worker who scraps dead animals off the road and any other "dirty" job that has some amount of social stigma. granted, porn pays better than most of those jobs, but it's not the job who makes the person, it's the person who makes the job. which would anybody have, a person with a successful job but who is rude, egotistical, too career minded, neglectful, disloyal and untrustworthy or somebody with a job not looked highly apon, but that person is sweet, caring, loving, selfless, loyal, honest and trustworthy??? i'm not painting a rosy picture of people in porn, as there are bad people in porn as in every other walk of life, but don't judge somebody by their occupation. try to understand them as people.

Are you kidding? A pornstar and janitors, plumbers, animal control has the same stigma? Yeah, perhaps in your mind but for the vast majority of people (including pornstars themselves) feel differently. I don't know if you I'm one of the posters who you're referring to but I understand they chose the job and I have nothing but respect for performers. I don't look down on what they do but will admit that I would have problems dealing with a girl I'm in a relationship with having sex with other people. No offense to all the enlightned people out there but that's a pretty normal response to have. If people saw getting paid to have sex with other people in the same light as plumbers, janitors, etc., pornstars would count for a large part of the workforce because why should a woman work at any low pay job when they could set up a camera and do porn or be hooker? It's only another type of job right?
Yeah, a girl makes that choice of a profession but when she does that she also makes the choice that typical relationships will be difficult.
There are plenty of great girls in porn. I know there are because some actually post here and I've met lots of them at conventions. Porn's a tough career to be in and excel in and I respect any girl who can do it and be successful at it. There are many pornstars who seem smart and funny and would probably be fun to hang with or be friends with but having a normal dating relationship with one would be really tough for the average guy. Most people aren't wired to handle that.
Not to mention being in a relationship with a girl who faces the constant treat of STDs, perhaps getting hurt if she films rough sex, disaproval from friends and family, worrying about for she's having feelings about the guys she's having sex with, altering her looks/body for her porn career, being bothered in public by fans who recognize her, dealing with the shady people in porn, etc., etc...
I'm not judging the girls themselves, I'm saying they're in a profession that's hard for most normal people to deal with.

well, then maybe it's just insecurity issues on your and many people like you's part. if my girlfriend or wife were having sex with guys as part of her occupation, then i can't let my personal feelings get in the way of that. it's not like she goes to work and has sex with jordan ash and that means she values jordan more than she values myself. it means that a production company is paying my girlfriend or wife to "work" with jordan ash and she will come home to me. if she cheats on me for a performer she works with, that's on her, not on me. i held up my end of the deal as far as trust and comitment was concerned and i can walk away from it knowing that i did nothing wrong. you can say porn and wrestling is one in the same in the aspect does steve austin really hate the undertaker??? no, he is working with the undertaker to put on a wrestling match, there job is to "work" people into believing the match they are having is as violent as they can get without actually hurting each other. same in porn, a performers job is to have sex so good, it makes people think that there is a real connection there. for most men and women, dating somebody in the business comes down to insecurity issues, which is of ones own self to solve. not anybody else. every person will have to ask themselves "can i handle it???" i believe i could. but that's speaking for myself.

I think the word "CHOSE" may not be the most appropriate one to use because I daresay many of the women who choose to do porn don't have all the necessary facts to make an educated decision. I mean if you told an 18 to 20 year old woman that doing porn will more than likely result in her getting vaginal and/or anal warts(caused by the HPV virus), gonorrhea, herpes, HIV(small likelihood but not impossible) and so many other STI's. Do you still think that they would go ahead and do porn? Maybe yes but maybe they would decide to do something that won't necessarily cause them problems for the rest of their life. How many janitors, plumber do you know who are afraid of getting an STI during their work day? If the number is not zero then those janitors or plumbers are fucking their customers instead of doing their actual job.
You seem to imply that people like me who would never date an active performer do so because we sort of despised them for the job they do. I know I don't. Why would I have anything but positive thoughts toward the women who bring me so much pleasure. I just don't want to date or have sex with a woman who has unprotected sex with multiple partners. I would never date an accountant who fucks different guys on the weekend even if she used a condom during every encounter. What can I say. I'm an old fashion guy who thinks that a monogamous relationship is better than a polygamous one when dating or marriage.

to quote jake roberts "in order to know where i'm going, you've had to have known where i've been." on my mother's side of the family, they were a southern pentecostal family. they listen to bluegrass and gospel music and they teached their children that sex was immoral and wrong. my mother was the black sheep of that family and was quite the "wild child" in her day. but believe as far as porn was concerned was the men and especially the women were looked at like "human rats" with various diseases and immoral and/or loose standards. which is why i compared their occupation to lower end jobs, because there are people who look at porn in that vein. i do not, i admire the men and women in this business. but none the less, porn is a thankless job. i feel the most these men and women need in this business is support. they need as many friends and family they have to support them and their endeavor. why would dating them change anything??? as for not making a educated decision on entering the business, that would be unwise. i can only speak for myself knowing i don't want to perform in front of the camera, my passion lies behind the camera. i know of all the testing they do for STDs and the risk that comes with doing porn. plus, i know i'm not handsome enough or quite frankly, hung enough, to make it in the business. it's why i admire these men and women, they were blessed with (or enhanced) the looks you need and are taking a huge risk with their own health to entertain us. like a wrestler would, one botched move and he or she is paralyzed from the neck down. one scene is all it takes to acquire the HIV virus, one scene is all it takes to get a STD. in some instance, it takes courage to do what they do. i just don't know if it sometimes gets lost on them the gravity of their situation is.

Yeah, insecurities play a part of it but even more important to me is not having someone I'm in a relationship with having sex with other people. You compare dating a pornstar with wrestlers pretending to hate and hurt each other but there's no pretend sex on a porn set.
But good for you that you you can look at dating a pornstar like dating a girl with any typical job. I suppose I admire you for being so open-minded that you'd be able to deal with the situation like most people would deal with their girlfriend working a typical job. Perhaps your right it's only a "job" and there should be trust.
So since shooting porn is much like any other job and I'm sure you'll be open to hearing your porn girlfriend talk about her day at work when she sees you. That's what couples with jobs do you know. I'd have a hard time listening to my girlfriend talk about how big the penis was on the guy she "worked" with or how many timess she squirted or how she had to blow the director for the BTS footage or how she'll have to take a week off because she hurts so much from the 8 guy gangbang. For you that would probably be like a guy's girl talking about how busy it was working at the GAP. And like other typical boyfriend/girlfriend relationships I'm sure you you'll occassionally drop by her workplace to have lunch with her. I do that with some of the girls I dated. I hang out while she's finishing up whatever and we go have lunch. I guess in your case she'd just wipe off the jizz and you two can grab a bite. Since your so open-minded I'm sure like most guys you'd want to support your girl be the best she can be at her job. So if your pornstar girlfriend finally got her chance to star in a movie done by one of the EVIL ANGEL directors devoted to her and she thinks this is her shot at winning an AVN award I think any supportive boyfriend you should be on set to cheer her through all 6 scenes. She's going need you to lean on when the gangbang scene gets too intense or difficult. Maybe you could cheer her on to push herself a little harder to make the DP portion look sexier. Most guys would freak at the idea of doing that but for a guy like you being so trusting and seeing that all that is simply a "job" for her, you could handle it no problem.
Like many other jobs sometimes things happen...like slow periods and layoffs. Porn has STD/AIDs scares where production may come to a halt. Like most other girls with most other jobs during times like that a girl might find side work to get her through the hard times. In the case of a girl a working at the mall she might have to turn to working fast food to make ends meet. For a porn girl that may mean escorting....because much like shooting porn, escorting is simply another job. Yeah, her johns will be disgusting, freaky and perhaps sadistic but hey, it's work. It might get uncomfortable for some guys to find out his girlfriend banged one of his co-workers but you wouldn't mind because as long as money was exchanged for her services it's perfectly fine because she was only doing her job. In fact...you could probably set up an appointment with your girl and that guy you know that can't get laid. You'd be increasing your girl's revenue and helping a friend at the same time. Thank goodness you're so secure with your girlfriend's job.
Yeah...you probably think I was being an ass by saying all that stuff but I said it because I wated to make the point that DOING PORN IS NOT LIKE ANY TYPICAL JOB. AND HAVING YOUR GIRLFRIEND BANGING OTHER GUYS ISN'T SO EASY TO DEAL WITH. I'm fine with you saying/thinking you'd be able to handle it but comparing it to most other jobs is just completely and totally unrealistic and quite frankly insulting for the girls who do porn and have to deal with so much stuff other girls could never deal with or have to. I just wanted to make you think before you make such comparisons again. No harm meant.

your sarcasm was not lost on me in your post. but once again, it's not that big of a deal to me. i don't know why it's is. is it because i believe mariage is a lost cause because so many people are getting divorced after making false pledges of "til death do us part"??? it might also be because i really don't plain on geting married anytime soon consittering that last fact. i also have heard that jealousy is the residue of greed. people want a person to be "all theirs" which in fact and in practice is a legalized form of slavery. the only person we own is ourselfs, which is why we are responsible for our own actions and we can not love anybody else until we love ourselves and our secure with ourselves (just don't love yourself too much and be overconfident). we also live in society where life is one size fits all and it's not custom made, which is why our gay and lesbian friends have had such a hard time assimilating into society, because somebody who was not gay or lesbian was trying to make somebody who was gay or lesbian marry somebody of the oppisite sex and when or if they found out said person was gay or lesbian, they would go into a childish homophobic mindset, thinking by touching them, they would "turn" gay or they would try to convert you. i once asked a friend of mine in high school "why is sex seen as so much of a moral thing???" in the same vein as tina turner asking "what's love got to do with it???" is "what's morals got to do with it???" your telling me i'm a bad person if i have tons of sex with people, even if i protect myself and protect my partners, still interact with my partners as friends and have sex with my partners in a consensual legal way. not to mention if i was in the porn business, your paying me to do something i like to do. i would say somebody who murders or is cruel to people or animals is worse than that. i asked that same friend (who is a male like myself) "why can't sex be looked at as a past time???" i understand females are more emotional than males and that's part of the females nature, but why be brainwashed with the cinderella syndrome society has fed women for centuries??? why can't it go like this, you have a female friend you've been close with, you have all day to do anything you want with each other, your both single, you meet up at 11am in the park, you walk around the park for a hour, then you suggest "let's go get something to eat", "ok" she says, 12:15am you have lunch, after lunch you and her agree to go back to her place, you talk for a hour or two, then say she's got a xbox 360, around 2:45pm, you play on it for a hour, 4:00pm, you walk again around her neighborhood, you come back around 4:30pm, you get to talking some more and around 5:30pm "you wanna have sex???" she says "ok, that sounds like fun" and you have sex for about a hour. then you talk some more until 7:30pm, you make her dinner, you eat, you watch some tv until about 8:30pm, then you give her a kiss and a hug and wish her a good night. that's if she does'nt ask you to sleep over. why does it got to be so special??? everybody's having sex with everybody, just everybody gets hurt when that somebody you've been sleeping with sleeps with somebody else. yes, my idea might be crazy and far-fetched, but the idea that most people can just stick with one person for their whole life is crazier than fiction. then again, that's my opinion.

^There are so many things I could talk about on your post but I'm going to limit myself to just talking about your female friend and you scenario. If you had a female friend who was single and who was open to doing everything you wrote on a regular basis than you would in reality be dating said female friend even if you don't want to call it that. Try to imagine the same scenario but your female friend is doing that with you and two other guys at the same time. She basically spends one day with one guy and then does the same with the other two guys on a regular basis so that you see your friend about every 3-4 days. Now you say you would be fine with that because you still get to spend some time together and have sex but I if you really believe that then you are fooling yourself. If your friend was so great then you would want to spend as much time as you could and you would not want to share her with other guys. Sooner or later you would want to know what she sees in the other guys because you can't all be identical and that is the beginning of jealousy. How can you not be jealous of the time she spends with other guys. Are you telling us that you would be very happy the day you call her and she says that she doesn't want to see you anymore because she'd rather spend more time with the other two guys?
A loving monogamous relationship may be a kind of slavery but it's not an owner/slave relationship because both participants are slaves to each other. If you love someone than you will do things that you don't want to because you know it's important to her and you want to make her happy and in return she will do things that you like and she doesn't for the same reason.

that begs the question, why are people who want a monogamous relationship on a pornography forum in the first place?? would'nt watching porn in some instance be cheating on said partner?? you are in a instance lusting after another person and in essance, you are being a voyuer. i am not into monogamous relationships because they don't work. it's proven, look at the divorce rate in this country (or any other country for that matter). i'm not saying people should not HAVE monogamous relationships, i think it's awesome when a couple who have been together for 50-60 years are holding hands, looking lovingly into each others eyes and still mean the words "i love you" when most people only say it and very rarely mean it, i'm saying it should'nt be accepted standard fair that EVERYBODY should have monogramous relationships. it's like dave mason said "there ain't no good guys, there ain't no bad guys, there's only you and me and we just disagree". dating a porn star (which is what this subject is about) would not be a problem for ME, i could care less if she screws everybody on the seattle seahawks, just as long as she's sleeping with me at the end of the night and if she's not, there are more fish in the sea. as my wise mother once told me "why have one chicken when you can have the whole henhouse???" i'm not insecure with myself because i know there are better looking men than me, more hung men than me, certainly more wealther men than me and men who are better than me at various things and i can accept that. but if you choose to date me and be my partner, what you see is what you get and i change for nobody. if you leave me for somebody else, i can't change your mind, your going to like who your going to like and i can only see it as your loss. i could chase after something that's not there like some fools under the influence of a mind debilitating state called love, but what would be the logic in that???
