Ditto for Platinum X .. seems every ten years bad luck presents itself in this industry,,, going back a while,, Savannah kills self,, Buttman, Tricia, Daren James and Brooke get lives changed by HIV is this industry cursed or what? ,, these are all good people just doing their job,, would be curious to know the statistical probability of this industry leading to tragedy,, or is it the same in all lines of work,, i am a meatcutter and i have done this for 16 years,, and still have all my fingers and have never even needed stitches,, So in a nutshell does this line of work does this profession have higher risks than the average blue collar job?? or do we only hear about them due to the rampant use of internet forums,, my heart goes out to all that have endured great losses whether it be death,,, sickness or disease,, I love porn and probably will always love the fantasy of it,, but I do feel compassion for what it has cost to those i enjoy viewing laters to all and to all a good nite oly Edited by - oly on Oct 31 2007 [Link] |

In the last few years we've lost Eddie Guerero, Chris Benoit, Bam Bam Bigelow and many many more. Any job/lifestyle that has a large amount (I'm not saying everybody) who routinely act like Rock Stars is going to have its years where it gets ugly. It happens for the music industry. It happens in Hollywood (look at the former teen princesses and how lucky we are none of them have died driving the wrong way on the freeway) it happens in wrestling, it happens in porn. [Link] |

As for the porn retirements, some are to be expected, girls come and go.......a lot of them come back and when they do, they are hotter, do nastier things, need money and are more real than the work they did when first performing.
