During July (weeks before Teagan signed her Digital Playground contract), Teagan sent her signed contract to Steve Crompton (the current Publisher of Carnal Comics). I first emailed Teagan in March but Travis (of Zero Tolerance) helped me by calling Teagan and leaving a message on her answering machine. A few days later, Teagan called me. Teagan was apologetic for calling me on a Saturday. Teagan said that she couldn't call earlier because she was too busy. Teagan was friendly and I told her a history of Carnal Comics. I talked her for only 10 minutes because I had to leave to go to my video store job. Teagan gave me her cell phone number and an address to send the Carnal Comics contract and recent comic books that Carnal Comics has come out with. I have talked to Teagan a number of times on the phone but I haven't yet interviewed her for the comic book. After I heard the official news that Teagan had become a Digital Playground contract girl, I left a message for Adella O'Neal (the Publicist for Digital Playground). Adella called me back and I told her about Teagan signing the Carnal Comics contract. She asked me about when it was signed and I told her when Steve received the contract. Adella said that Digital Plaground manages Teagan and looks out for her interests. Adella asked me about the terms of the contract. I said that Steve could send her a Carnal Comics contract and some comic books. I told Adella that if she had problems with Teagan's Carnal Comics contract, things were negotiable. I tried to get across the idea that Carnal Comics was willing to work with them. I also said that Carnal Comics was interested in doing comics based on Devon and Jesse Jane as well. Adaptations of Digital Plagrounds movies in comic book form was something else that I brought up. Steve sent Adella a contract and comic bookss but he never heard back from her. It's been over a month now. On August 22nd, I received an email Teagan. She still expressed in Carnal Comics doing a comic book about her. Teagan was apologetic about not contacting me for such a long period of time. Teagan offered to email me a biography of herself and she said that I could call her the next day. I didn't think any doctor in his right mind could live with himself if he pulled out the balloons & took a hacksaw to that beautiful young woman. If Kaylynn's work was as minor we will all be at peace. Also, am I the only person that sees the light when Teagan smiles? I don't think I've ever seen someone who can light up a room with their smile like her. For any producer/director out there that put Teagan on your cover and didn't use a picture with her smiling. But I also have some friends on there that wanna be low-key and interact with JUST their friends, which I also understand. I didn’t wanna blow up her spot but also I had the feeling that because of the manner of the pic (headless) i was gunna be called out on it’s validity. (and again, understandably) so I tried to find a fence to sit on. I didn’t. it was terrible etiquette on my part. I have since removed it.but aside from all that, i think she is nifty.
