The keyboard lights flash off and on, caps lock won't go off. 4. The keys don't type what thay are supposed to. 5. Some days the above happens, others it doesn't. I've tried; 1. virus scan and nothing shows up. 2. System restore, this stops it from happening for a few hours 3. unpluging the keyboard and mouse from the tower, then plugging them back in, sometimes this works, other times it doesn't. Anyone got any ideas? I really don't want to have to reformat, it takes me days to get everything back to how it was. Edited by - bobcat on Feb 10 2009 [Link] |

I've screwed up a keyboard connector by dropping a keyboard and having it yank on the plug. I'd get random problems after that until I taped the keyboard cable to the case so it wouldn't wiggle in the socket. |

But it sounds like it goes haywire and you may not be able to do anything. Edited by - oatmeal on 2/11/2009 6:31:02 PM |
