RyanK285 Member 81 Posts 8/05	Posted - Dec 12 2006 : 12:42AM yeah, i did the 5 day trial thing for 9.95 and um, it sucks. it claims to have streaming downloads but they break up the scene into like 6-7 different parts and it takes a while to download (and i have roadrunner cable). also, they say u can download the videos but apparently you can only do 2 at a time because the website wont load other pages if u have 2 downloading. what a piece of crap. RyanK285 Member 81 Posts 8/05	Posted - Dec 12 2006 : 10:41AM i can do without the pictures, and all those other sites they offer as part of the membership, they are not all free, most of them there is an additional fee. also, all of their videos are not available for downlaod, all u can do is view them which is horrible because a 20 minute scene is broken up into 3 minute segments to stream. Can't download more than "2 at a time"? Awww Considering they must be supporting hundreds (if not thousands) of downloads at any given moment, maybe you have hardware/technical issues of your own to consider? [Link]

From a webmaster perspective they are one of the best. I have a hard time believing that all the free stuff downloads quickly but when you pay it downloads slowly. Especially since the money is in keeping customers month after month. [Link]

Click to expand This is actually a very common (and often recommended) configuration for the Apache web server software that they use. I would suspect this to be the norm rather than the exception. With so many users nowadays using browser plug-ins like FasterFox and the crazy download utilities it's important to make sure a single user can't overwhelm a web server or chew up tons of bandwidth. Click to expand I totally disagree. This is a great site with a TON of high-quality movies to download. Everything on any site will take "a while" to download, but NewSensations.com has download speeds up to 800 Kb/s which is very good. Just cause you don't have access to all the sites with your 5-day trial, or are discouraged because you can't clean out the site in 5 days, doesn't mean it sucks. Try paying for the regular monthly membership, you won't regret it. [Link]

Are you having a problem contacting New Sensations about that, or did you just want to complain in public? It isn't that I don't think bad sites deserve bad reviews, but if the issue is customer service/satisfaction then it seems to me that the place to start is with the company you have an issue with, not a public forum. Click to expand Hey Ryan - My names Sean and I run all the NS sites. In regards to the scenes in 6-7 different parts we do offer that but also include the full scene download with each video update. For the past 3 years of updates its been this way. We split the scenes up for people with lower bandwidth connections so they don't have to sit and wait for a 250mb+ download. But like I said, the same exact scenes are available to dl in full by clicking the "Download Full Scene" text link above the thumbs in bold. We are in the process of converting all the older video from 2000-2003 to the new format too. Soon every single video will be finished, re-encoded and offer the full scene to download. Re-crunching 3 years of video is a very tedious task. I just talked to my main cruncher and he said he has 80 old scenes ready for upload in the new format and the rest will follow. All the other sites in our network are the new format to download by clips or by full scene. You can also download as much as you want with different browsers open. We do not allow site suckers though because as Drew said it clogs the network killing the speed for all the members and that's simply not fair to everyone. Our membership base is by no means tiny and we try to give all our members a good fast connection to the content. Click to expand All the sites ARE free with your membership and you have full access to everything EXCEPT live chats and the unobtrusive upsells for pills, software, VOD and toy and video stores at the bottom of the main members area. I don't think you realize that all the sites in the NS network is NS content niched out - We shoot it all! Our members get full unrestricted access (unlike other members sites which make you upgrade) to all the piggybacked sites within the NS network along with the third party reality content available from Pink Visual, Holio and Sex Entertain. I don't believe in the "Upgrade for full access" bs and that will never be a part of our network and never has been period. Click to expand If you joined for some Lela Star scenes - I'm looking at the full scene download links for all three updates as I type this. I also just checked each scene for choppiness and they play fine and look KILLER in full screen because they were all shot crispy digital. These scenes were shot just a few months ago when Lela broke into the industry. If you were using the streaming option then I can see choppiness happening just with a bad connection to our servers. Its the net and it happens. But these files are local on my drives and seriously look incredible - I would down the scenes for optimal viewing pleasure. Now things are getting fishy - Were you really a member because each one of your posts are false. I strive for member, affiliate support and quality of content since day 1 - I have a feeling you have a different agenda in regards to your posts. For what reason... You will have to fill us all in. RyanK285 Member 81 Posts 8/05	Posted - Dec 13 2006 : 9:05PM simple ns, no, i am not doing this for shits n giggles. i downloaded a scene from tory lane and kaylani lei and they both work fine but for some reason the lela star scenes dont run very smoothly. so, its not my computer. also, i figured out a way around the 2 downloads at a time by doing like u said, being up multiple browsers. for real man, im not here to make your company look bad or anything. i wasnt really impressed with the site because in my own opinion, it looks very disorganized. but, for 9.95, i shouldnt really complain. u get what you pay for. RyanK285 Member 81 Posts 8/05	Posted - Dec 14 2006 : 8:18PM a lot of them are in windows media or/and real player format. they are working on making all of them work on wmp/realplayer/quicktime. im using windows media player 11 and i think its the best one to play videos. however, itunes player is better for music because it has an equalizer unlike windows media player. TairyHesticles Member 809 Posts 6/13	Posted - Sep 3 2013 : 11:26AM i'm also disappointed by the quality of the videos of the membership site. i wanted to see some of my favorite scenes in higher quality than dvd and the covers of these titles even say "shot in hd". they offer the following formats to download / stream: Flash FLV MP4 iPhone/iPad MP4 & Mobile Windows Media WMV though the flv format has the highest filesize with a resolution of 1024x576. it is horribly encoded with really nasty artifacts. the audio isn't much better, 128kbps mp3 stereo. the last time i have seen such horrible artifacts was when i had a dial up connection in early 2000. wmv is an even smaller file with the same awful unbearable artifacts, audio is even worse because it's only in mono. mp4 iphone/ipad is 64 hex 360 lower than dvd. the encoding is better but still very blurry. it's a shame because the content is superb, but the low quality encodes ruin everything. i expected at least dvd quality encoded with a modern codec (h264 mp4 with a highbitrate like on other sites) without the limitations of the old mpeg2. proper 720/1080p downloads/streams would be amazing. i like that you can download stills and caps in bulk as a zipfile. though the jpgs could be hihger res, too. i advise you not to join until they fix this.
