I'm not sure who Morbid was responding to, but I don't think "bent out of shape" describes my reaction. I don't care one way or the other. The only awards I'm really interested in are the ones I can win, quite honestly. But it would be cool if the critics who voted showed some originality in their nominations. That's all I'm saying. At least, the XRCO is more relevant than the FOXE or the AVNs. But, I mean, Jesse fucking Jane? C'mon. we're talking pornography , people, not goddam Showtime latenight. And, for real, any list like this that neglects Katja in favor of a robot can't even be considered valid. How's that for bent out of shape? At least, for this category, the panel should have tried a little harder. If the AVNs are the Oscars, you guys should be more like the NY Film Critic's Circle. Jesse was up for some kind of uber-prize at the AVNs this year, so it's not like by nomming her you've made up for anything. But it's really disappointing considering the X-rated critics are supposed to be the tastemakers/400-DVD watching a year-type folks. Probably, this is too much of nothing.
