Wowies! I'm soooooo super duper excited and totally flattered. Just to be nominated is just so amazing to me. Annnnd to be nominated along side all of these amazing girls makes it even better. I'm so excited. This made my day :) Wooooot, woot!
To the nominees who post here - Kristina, Stoya, and Tori - I'm curious: Who would you vote for? And yes, you are allowed to vote for yourself in this poll.
What's the eligibility period for the XRCO's? Is it similar to AVN and CAVR (Oct 1 - Sep 30)? If so then I have to go with Tori again like I said when those noms came out. (no offense to Stoya who I also dig big time, but unlike AVN I thought Tori edged her out due to having more titles - oh and I'm kinda partial to tall chicks). If it's a more recent period (like Jan 1 - Dec 31 or something) then I think Kristina definitely comes into the picture a lot more, as she came on really strong towards the end of 2008. On the other hand, if it was further back, like from July 1 2007 - June 30 2008 or something, I'd say Faye is a much bigger contender, because she was still working with lots of different guys during that time. (Am I allowed to say I don't think her boyfriend is a very good performer? Because he isn't. I mean he's not terrible, but he's also not top-tier male talent, and so her performances suffer as a result.) So I guess it's all about the time frame. But congrats to all the noms. Except Nikki, because she was only in two movies. She did a good job in them, but that's a ridiculous nomination. Just like Meggan Mallone being nominated at AVN. Totally ridiculous nomination.
If you look at what Nikki Jayne actually did in those 2 movies, I think the nomination is fully justified. She hit the ground running and left very little unexplored territory for us to bitch and moan about. It's quality vs quantity. Would I vote for her? Probably not. But she is a worthy nominee. As for the lovely Tori Black, my brother said it best as we walked away from her podium at AEE. Quoting Kill Bill: "That's one tall drink of cocksucker."
I'm totally not gunna lie.... I'd vote for myself. Haaa, ha. I'm just sooooo flattered to even be nominated :) I've been walking on sunshine ever since I found out! If I couldn't vote for myself I'd vote for Tori. Nothing against any of the other girls, but Tori has worked her ass off, is always a great performer and is such a wonderful girl. Plus we're kinda homies ;)
Ok but no, seriously, I know she hit the ground running, but look at, for example, Andi Anderson, who did eight movies in the same time period (Oct 1 2007 - Sep 30 2008) and did everything Nikki did (and more), and IMO did it better. In other words, it's not like Nikki is some freak of nature who "went further" than anyone else in that time period. I thought about it for about three seconds and came up with someone else who did more than her. So if it's a nom for 'hitting the ground running', you would have to give it to Andi instead. And I'm not even saying that Andi should have been nominated necessarily, I'm just saying that if that's your main criteria, she should come in ahead of Nikki. I still say two movies is a ridiculous nomination.
^ Thanks man. I was thinking it might be different from AVN (Oct 1 2007 - Sep 30 2008). Since XRCO goes all the way until Dec 31, I'd place Tori as number one and Kristina number two because of Kristina's great end to 2008. If the eligibility period had been the same as AVN, I'd put Stoya second instead of Kristina. Either way Tori's number one if you ask me. But of course, no one asked me.

Wow talk about a tough choice, all of the nominees are so fine and great performers....but my current fav is on the list so I would have to vote for Kristina (but I don't have to make that hard, and dignified decision, Thank God )
