I've had two shipments lost from two different cities, and XRentDVD cancelled my account. I suspect they have a major problem with theft, due to the diminuitive size of the rental envelopes. I'm rather disappointed with this whole episode, as I now can't even purchase DVDs from them. I'd bought quite a few DVDs from them through the years and never had problems with a package disappearing. Any other experiences? [Link] |

Right before Christmas, a second Blockbuster Online disc failed to arrive. It still hasn't arrived. I would think that both Blockbuster and Netflix have a bigger problem with this sort of thing than XRent does, because their envelope makes it pretty obvious that there is a DVD inside. Therefore, those shipments would be more prone to theft than an XRent shipment (or return), because there is no indication of the contents of the package. |
