While the quality of XXX today is much better (e.g. lighting, photography, varety..etc.)...I could see it going to a new level with simple tweaks in directing and cheap sfx/body makeup..

I'm noticing how a lot of the sex has become (or has always been a bit "mechanical" in most cases)...by that I mean the moans/expressions on the face of the women don't match what's going on "to them"...e.g. could the director not have asked the girls to moan in-sync with each thrust? Simple change that would make the scene hotter and more "real". Have the women react to each thrust. Fake a reaction when doing anal especially on first entry...
Stop wiping away the sweat. When most of us have sex we swet no? And don't most of us find sweat on a beautiful woman sexy? Why not even "add it" using a spray bottle with water?
When the girls cum...if they don't naturally convulse ask them to fake it...e.g. dipping the hips a few times when moaning/screaming...like some girls do when squirting.
Fake the squirting or being wet (e.g. cut/pause the scene...squeeze some clear watered down lube into her vagina or ass) resume the scene..the contracts muscles..and the liquid oozes out. Could fake creaming as well...when she's pretending to convulse...how HOT would that be? :) Not expensive to do. Just requires a little planning.
Raw onion. To make tears. Why have we never seen the women be brought to tears? Happens in real life with good sex (and bad HEH).
Tweak the stories...that still needs a bit of work...even if they have come a long way (e.g. TUSHY, Vixen...). The women's roles...they give in too easily (e.g. brot-sis theme, father step-daughter, coach punishing female student...which they'd never get away with in real life obviously..unless the story was written so that it was possible...).
And when they do those authority figure dominating female..the sex positions used should only include those where the man is "in-control" (e.g. pinning her wrist down doing the missionary or prone bone, doggie...). Never with the girl being "punished' doing cowgirl...BJ's should be forced...she should be squirming throughout...protesting...this is where using a raw onion would fit in...letting us see them sweat..
Lastly...can use concealer make up on body blemishes.
