I opened ADT as normal and .....there it was, 'News & Editorials'!!!

I think it's a wonderful concept and I look forward to reading the articles and exploring the new segment to ADT.

Fun! YesPortal is the only other adult site (besides AdultDVDTalk) that I often visit on a daily basis. It's quite convenient to have a page devoted to their stories here.

How does the YesPortal posting process work? I mean, I'm sure there is some sort of review process to make sure only well written, on topic columns are submitted. Or can any john or jane submit a story?

John or Jane can submit a story but I believe all sumissions are reviewed prior to posting. For a more specific answer you'll need to contact the YesPortal folks sicne they determine their publishing requirements. I wish I could be more helpful.

Dream W, that's an excellent question and I wish I knew what the policies are, or will be. But at this point, I'm pretty sure that nothing's written in stone.

At the present time, there's an assorted group of "regulars" that write for Yes Portal, but I don't think the boss is so rigid that he wouldn't look at someone else's stuff if it came across his screen.

The way it usually works, is that some of us will report on what's going on in the porn and other adult businesses, or recent political or legal news about sexual issues; and some writers will react to what's going on in these areas with our opinions or additional comments.

Of course we try to do this in ways that are either entertaining, informative or relevant. And while I don't know how the other writers feel about their experiences with Yes Portal, mine have often been joyful to write about and at times a real bitch to reveal.

I've written some pretty good stuff at times; and others times my work has been, well, let's just leave it with I wish I hadn't written some of them.

Personally, I don't think I'm all that much of a skilled writer; people probably read my stuff because they want to know what I'm going to say next. And if a guy like me can write for this site, why not the next guy that's got something he believes needs to be told.

But you have to love it; you have to love the whole fucking game with all of its madness...
