The only 'story-movies' I liked were movies from John Stagliano like Wild Goose Chase, Face Dance, Buda and The Fashionistas but that's because those movies were made by The Master himself. [Link]

They had just enough hint of a story to get the point across, without making me bored, but also stronger sex than is found in most features. Not everything Woodman did for Private caught my interest, and very little of his Hustler output has done much for me, but I still rewatch some of his Private features from time to time. [Link]

Though, unlike Speelie, I really don't like Woodman. I much prefer Adamo or Kovi. I also like most of the Marc Dorcel features as they tend to feature some of the most beautiful girls and lavish sets (along with a good dose of hardcore). And recently, I've been enjoying some of the Brad Armstrong stuff from Wicked (Serenity In Denim, for example). [Link]

Click to expand Ditto on this for the same reasons - If I'm paying for (for eg) 2hr 20 mins of porn I want 2hr 10 mins of porn not 1hr 50m of porn and 30 mins "filler"- as I have said before on here if I want plot I'll get "The Matrix" out ...ehm OK bad example but I'll get a mainstream film not Porn. One of my favorite features is an old Alex DeRenzy film, Slave to Love. The sex is great and the story moves along nicely, since it's all about sex anyway. [Link]

This was the key problem with 70s and 80s porn: the girls thought they were actresses;and the guy behind the camera thought of himself as an "auteur." Luckily, the emerging videotape market, with its accompanying technologies of cut and paste and fast forwarding did away with those pretensions. Rodney Moore's Creme de la Face represented a real paradigm shift: now all you needed was a goofy guy with a camera and a girl willing to eat a big load. This is why I now do not watch Private videos anymore. Lol. Now you even have porn DVDs coming out with "Director's Commentary." Gimme a break. 2Big [Link]

That movie was way ahead of his time and when I saw that movie I knew Stagliano was The Lord himself :-) [Link]
