Katin is smokin' hot and does a great scene as usual. Chelsea has some major tits but her scene is rather run of the mill, it missed something extra in my opinion.

Jessica has perhaps the best scene in the movie, high energy and she's cute as hell.

Sativa & Monica is the only scene with two girls and I believe this is Monica's first b/g scene and she looks pretty nervous or uncomfortably at the beginning of the scene. Unfortunately no anal for Monica but Sativa does give up her backdoor entrance for some sweet lovin'.

The bonus scene on the dvd is with a new girl named Meadow who does a blowjob only scene with multiple guys. The bonus footage is great as we get to see some more of Katin in the shower.

For example, the movie could be a "near miss" and still be quite "good" in terms of the sex acts committed, the beauty of the women, the extras, etc.... Or it could be "not that good of a movie" in terms of production values, but if it contains volcanic action it might still be considered a Hit. Whatever.

Thanks for the critique/suggestion. Though I have been writing reviews of adult films since the late 90s, I am still figuring it out. I try my best to be as succinct as possible but often my tendency for wordiness gets the best of me.

As for the rating thing, I've never really liked that. Some reviews or reviewers, like PL of WCA or Den of CAVR, have very exact methods of assigning points to tapes. And a lot of ADT reviews do the same thing. There's nothing wrong with that. However, it seems to be what everyone does. I guess I've always modeled myself after Rog at www.rogreviews.com. After all, when I started writing reviews the only game in town I knew of was Rog, LSB, Paralyzingporn reviews, and Patrick Riley on RAME. With Rog, you have to read his whole review to get the story and if he does a good job you won't need an extraneous add-on meter or "hit or miss" system to know what to expect. Idealistically, if I do a good enough job with my reviews you should only have to read the "abridged version" section to get the point.

But I am probably expecting too much. Like I said, I am still figuring it out. I am not outright dismissing the suggestion.

Also....my review of "Young Ripe Melons 5" is not indicative of all of my reviews. I think I wrote that as I was also writing a film formalism critique of "Vertigo" for film class. So, I was watching "YRM 5" with a different eye than I normally would.
