....this board often finds itself discussing our first exposure to the wonders of porn, and many times posters describe how they happened upon their parents' porn collection....so, have any of you had your porn stash uncovered by your children? Do your children know you enjoy porn? Do they know that you know that they know you enjoy porn? Has your children uncovering your porn habit had any impact on your relationship - either with your children or with your porn?
I have 2 children (g16/b15) and so far as I can tell they are unaware of my porn...

^When I first read the OP, I debated whether I should move it to the "Polls" forum or not. I decided to leave it here, as it seemed one of those questions that would elicit various stories, as opposed to many of the polls, which are the types of questions that require one word answers. Yay or Nay, choice 1 or choice 2, etc.
I do realize it's a bit of a gray area, but I'd say let's leave it here, and see if any people come up with some good stories. It's possible no one has anything they want to say on the subject, regardless of which forum it's posted in.
I don't have kids; otherwise I'd have answered you. :)

People learn about sexuality in their own time and manner. A parent should certainly be concerned about their children's access to pornography, and set clear rules about your expectations, and safeguard your own material as you might safeguard anything else you wouldn't want your children to have access to.
I suppose this comes with a few caveats. I'm a former Marine, and was an expert shot. I'm very comfortable handling guns, and intend to teach my children how to safely handle firearms as well. Until they're at least 11 or 12, my firearms will be safely locked up; once they're of an age where I believe I can trust them, I'll teach them how to handle those weapons safely, and ideally the locks will come off. This isn't to say I'll have loaded shotguns leaning against the front door, mind you; the point is that children who are taught to be afraid of things (like guns), or not taught anything at all, are more likely to be curious about them.
I had a friend in High School, who always had stacks of pornos. He told me his dad bought them for him; I didn't really know what to make of that at the time (I was 16.) I don't think it's necessary to teach my children sexuality. I do think it's important to let them know that they're welcome to come to me with any questions they have, without feeling judged for the questions. While younger, I'd make it clear that I don't want them visiting adult content websites, and doing so repeatedly would lead to serious restrictions. Like with the guns, I think there's a point of maturity where those locks need to come off; I suspect it'll come about the same time that they get their 'own' laptop to do what they want with.
I'm not interested in prying into my children's sexual habits, and I'd strongly discourage anyone from 'opening up' to their children about their interests. There's a fine (and important) line between trying to help your children learn and grow into healthy adults, and sexualizing your relationship with your children.

uh, how do I say this without sounding condescending? OK - here it is . You have a 15-year old boy AND porn in the same house? I'll bet any amount of money he has viewed your porn. Any Amount! Has your son ever been home alone? Even for an hour? If the answer is yes, he has ALREADY discovered your stash. It does not matter what you do, teen boys will ferret out porn if it is in the house.
What I do is make it inaccessible.
My father tried his best to make it inaccessible but I was relentless and ALWAYS spent free time getting a hold of it if I knew the location or looking for it if I did not. About the age of ten, I found out my father had some dirty magazines in bottom drawer of his dresser. After removing some for closer inspection, they were moved. From then on, whenever I was alone (even if my family was only in the back yard), I spent my time attempting to find his magazine stash. He took a door and made a shelf out of it by hanging it in the garage. Then in the trash cans (my mother evidently threw them out - about twenty issues of Cheri, Hustler, Oui, Velvet and Genesis - they were then mine). Eventually, I discovered them in the attack. Now the only way of getting to the attack was through my oldest sisters clothing closet. Nobody ever went up there. Eventually, I found he moved them to the crawl space in the basement, then under the basement stairs, then in suitcases that we stored in a hall closet, then in a box in the trunk of his car and finally back to the bottom drawer of his dresser.
I'll give it to the old man, he was creative. But I was relentless BECASUE it does not matter what you do, teen boys will ferret out porn if it is in the house.
I do not know how magazine sales are these days, with unlimited free porn via the internet. I no longer buy or store adult magazines, got rid of my adult VHS tapes and am now down to porn in two formats - computer porn and DVD's.
In regard to DVD's, I keep them locked away in CD storage vaults in my locked home office. These vaults are designed to safely store DC-ROM's, DVD's, CD's, etc. They are locked at all times and I am the only one with the key. I first bought the vault with the intention of attempting to break into it. I could not. However, had I a teenage boy, I'm sure he could...eventually. The units are actually also used for my business but I am the only one that ever need have access. Let's assume each drawer holds 150 DVD's with dividers, the first 20 are work related followed by twenty or dividers after which the porn starts. What about the case the DVD comes in? Good question. When I receive a DVD in the mail, it gets processed - put into the correct vault - with titles I have not yet scene, those all go into a special vault that I am likely to visit first. The title card is removed from the housing sleeve and filed in alphabetical order in locked file cabinets with old business paperwork - should I decide to sell the DVD later. The case is now empty, both inside and out. I store some of those, throw others away, donate the rest that I can't unload at garage sales or the occasional flea market. I price them at ten cent apiece and people pay me to haul away my garbage.
Computer porn is a different matter. I have a home office and several different computers. I keep my kids away from my computer by putting the ill-gotten-goods on the slowest computer I have that is not connected to the net. I got this idea from Bill Cosby who listened to Jazz in his basement on a record player while sitting on an uneven wooden chair. The basic idea is that kids are drawn to the latest, fastest gadgets and the antiquated stuff is of not interest to them. The set-up is ideal for me as I have girls. Boys would go through each computer, each external-hard-drive, etc., I keep important porn back-ups on an external-hard-drive, but it is password protected. I keep a list of passwords in my top drawer, but they are coded and I'm the only one who knows how to decode it (it is a language I made up as a kid and altered it as an adult).
The bottom line is this - if someone is determined to kill you, they will find a way to kill you. With kids and porn, if they are determined to find your porn, they find a will eventually locate your porn. Whether or not they have access is a totally different question. But I accept that my kids know much more about computers than I ever will. So the steps I take are more of an irritant, but they are effective (unplugging the computers that house the porn, putting the external hard drive in a locked file cabinet, etc.,) Again, smart kids will eventually figure it out. My hope is that they simply stop trying and go elsewhere.
For me, I know my daughters have seen Playboy and have watched a limited amount of porn, both on cable (mostly at sleepovers) and on their computers. I know this two ways. They told me when they saw Playboy (their friend found a stash in her brothers room and borrowed it for the afternoon). They also informed me about watching a Skinamax movie or three. I also know they have viewed a limited amount of computer porn as I check their computers (as per the agreement when I gave them for the holidays last year - they can only use them in the family room or kitchen and no passwords). I assume they have viewed porn at their friends houses who have slightly less, well, hypocritical and anal fathers.
Most importantly, their mother and I talk to them about issues that come up. Communication, education and trust is the best way to go - perhaps the only way to go. You do not need to rebuild Fort Knox but as parents, our primary job to to keep our kids away from bad influences and protect them from stuff they are not yet ready to see until they are able to make those important decisions for themselves. If we have done our job, they will be able to make those decisions with an idea of good and bad, right and wrong, etc., One day, perhaps- but not today and not for my kids.
Then again, my best friend's mom let him have a subscription to Playboy for his 15th birthday. He would keep the magazine's spread out nicely on the coffee table. He is now a successful orthopedic surgeon. So who's to say that my way is right and hers was wrong?

My 17-year-old daughter is aware that I watch, review and sell porn for a living. I'm not going to keep my occupation a secret from her, simply because I work in the sex industry. If I worked in a bar or a casino, I wouldn't lie about my place of employment. There are certain vices that are prohibited to children, which I think should be discussed with them, in order to dispel some of the mystique.
That said, I do keep my porn under lock and key. However, I'm realistic about her curiosity. All it takes is one slip-up on my part, and she'll jump on it. She probably already has. I've informed her that porn is a skewed representation of sex, that it's deliberately extreme, and that it portrays unsafe, risky practices.
So while doing my best to prohibit her exposure to porn, I've also tried to mentally prepare her should she be determined to view it.

My daughter is only 7. She is aware that I work in a business for adults, but we have not discussed what that means, and I'm hoping we won't have to until she's MUCH MUCH older.
I wasn't aware that my parents watched porn until I was about 14 or 15. I don't think I had any idea what porn really was until I was 15, and I didn't see a porn movie myself until I was 19.

I have 3 sons. The oldest is 24 and in the Army. #2 is 22 and is a civil engineer and no longer lives at home. #3 is 20, just graduated from junior college and still lives at home. He has never even dated. He is sort of 20 going on 13. Good kid but VERY naive. He has absolutely no idea that mommie does porn. I am not ashamed of what I do, but he is in no way ready to learn what mommie does when she's not being a nurse. We have a rather large porn collection that we keep in various places in our bedroom. One time I sent him into our bedroom to get something out of a closet where we do not keep our collection. Unknown to me, my husband had stacked some old VHS tapes on a shelf in there. One day where we were home and my husband was not there, my boy came to me with a very serious look on his face. He asks me... "Mom..do you know that Rocky keeps porn in your bedroom?? God! What a pervert! I'm really sorry I have to tell you this, mom. But I thought you should know." I nodded my head and didn't say much. He went away feeling like he had done a good, but tough job. After he was away from me I laughed until I practically peed my pants.

Stephan, not to get too heavy, or overstep any bounds, but even after you've taught the kids how to use guns I'd suggest still keeping them locked up and only let them use them under your supervision until they are out of the house. I had a friend as a teen who was from a military family who killed himself with his dad's rifle, which he didn't keep locked up. Just my
Sorry to go OT, but your story instantly reminded me of that incident from my youth.

I have no children so this is all theoretical. But I wouldn't let them have my porn. I believe in having open channels and honest discussion between parents and children. But I think parents' sex lives, and porn, should be kept private.
If I found my kids (as adolescents) had porn, I would not take it away (unless I thought it was illegal or sick); but I also think it should be kept discrete.

BlackSix,
No sweat, the advice is obviously well intentioned.
I strongly believe that someone with a strong enough desire to commit suicide will find a way to do it. I had a former roommate take the biggest knife I owned (a huge chef's knife I prized) and tried to cut his arms so he'd bleed to death. Living in Los Angeles, I'm sure if I had a child hell bent on committing suicide, I'm sure acquiring a weapon would probably be easier than acquiring a driver's license :/
I suppose what's more important, is my desire to be active enough in my children's lives, to know what they're up to; either with suicidal thoughts, an interest in pornography, or just not doing great in chemistry.

We have children either, but my husband and I who are trying to get pregnant do indulge in theoretical discussions on weapons in the house and sex, porn, my former career and our BDSM lifestyle. We can muse on it and even argue about it, but at least we discuss it.
As far as sex goes, I think it's important to openly talk about it at an early age. Make it a friendly dialogue and try to remove the dirty taboos from the conversation. We WON'T discuss porn, our sex lives or our lifestyles unless it is brought up. However, I don't want to install the archaic value that if a man watches/reads/masturbates to porn he doesn't respect women. It is a natural urge that should not be fought with tension and guilt upon the child's part.
Regarding weapons, my husband and I own a catalogue of guns (see my Sarah Jane thread for a photo of me on the range skeet shooting). We firmly believe in learning to use a fire arm as early as possible and to teach safe weapons handling. Once you've been to the range and/or really used a gun, you will KNOW it's not a toy. The loud ear ringing thunder (with ear protectors) and gun powder flavor in the back of your throat will install a sense of respect and fear that no book or Sesame Street preaching could ever attain. I think ALL children should learn to handle a weapon with the right tutor in a protective environment. We have decided upon a thrumb release case for the bedroom shotgun, which is the one gun that stays out in the open. You don't need a key and it reads your thumb print for quick release.
I digress, again. Now, one day when we do have kids, how do I tell them that mummy was once gang banged by 8 guys in a castle on film? My husband and I are still scratching our heads on this one. I say ... NEVER bring it up. It's been almost 12 years since my last movie, it's history for us; it should be non-existent for them.

Guns & Porn interesting.
spit roast I read recently. According to a 2007 study from the University of Alberta, as many as 90 percent of boys and 70 percent of girls aged 13 to 14 have accessed sexually explicit content at least once.
spit roast you say "I'll teach them how to handle those weapons safely" and I'll add "responsibility"
Then you say "I don't think it's necessary to teach my children sexuality"
Why don't you just give them the guns and let them figure it out on their own? Tell them if they have any questions to come ask you.
Why don't we just give teenagers the keys to the car and let them teach each other how to drive.
spit roast you say "People learn about sexuality in their own time and manner"
Giving teenage boys a car money and a street full of crack whores is a great learning experience. And he can bring what he learned back to our daughters. Getting STD's is part of the learning experience right. And who knows they may learn to cure AIDS before they die.
Our boy giving our girls drugs and alcohol to have sex with them is another great learning experience. The STD's will only add to the experience.
Sexuality is given to humans at birth. It is as important to humans as air, water, food and protection from the elements.
Sexual desire comes to humans at puberty, not at 18.
But I agree we should continue to teach our children shame and humiliation about their sexuality. After all we have drugs and alcohol that will repress their sexual inhibitions. Drug addiction and alcoholism are small prices to pay to maintain our Victorian prudish society.
spit roast "the point is that children who are taught to be afraid of things (like guns), or not taught anything at all, are more likely to be curious about them."

This only only applies to guns right, not sex. If we don't tell them about sex they won't know about it right.
We should continue to tell our children porn is bad and only bad nasty perverts watch porn. But mommy and daddy watch porn. That clears up everything.

I'm pretty certain that both my children (g16/b15) will have viewed porn, via Satan's Switchboard (aka the internet)....
Also, I'm pretty certain they're unaware of my own collection of porn. One thing is that I expend a lot more effort in hiding my porn from my children than I did when I was only hiding it from my parents....

Hey Now, if I had a son, I have no doubt that he'd be apprenticing at a locksmith's right now. Better yet, he'd be on the internet and in touch with the company that makes my vaults attempting to get replacement keys. That, or he'll attempt some "Ocean's 11" switcharoo to get my keys from me for an hour, make an imprint using an inkpad and pay off a local key maker to replicate said key. Trust me, if boy's spent half the time and ingenuity in their schoolwork as they did in finding their dad's stash...
But as I said, I am lucky in that I have girls who are more interested in things relating to who likes who, makeovers, worrying about boys, cures (both mani & pedi), schoolwork, their social circle, activities (sports, religious school, equestrian, fantasizing about swimmer Michael Phelps (and writing Mrs. Michael Phelps over and over and over again), etc., Face it, teen girls are just wired differently (Thank God).
Keep in mind that although I go to extremes to hide my porn collection, I am not a total hypocrite in raising my kids. In fact, responsibly keeping my perversions locked away is a must have in my opinion for any parent. I allow them to make mistakes rather than protecting them from every hurtful element that exists. Mom and I are there to share stories from our youth and offer advice, but I've never once told any of my girls that they HAVE to do something. For example, we don't shield them from foul language (on TV, movies, etc.,) but we choose not to go that route in the home. We share that decision with the kids and as a result they have gone the same route. Do I Believe they have never cursed? Of course not! But they know and have it ingrained that curse words are short-cuts for people who cannot think of better ways to express a thought. Most importantly, I've never had to say, "Ginger and Traci, stop Cursing, god damn it! If I ever hear you say that again, your punished, blah, blah... I'd rather pull out George Carlin's "Seven Dirty Words" routine and listen to it with them.

To expand more on my post. I think it is very irresponsible for parents to pretend their children are not going to have a sex life and pretend they didn't have a sex life.
Here is an article about porn and your children.
A new book traces the migration of porn culture from adult theaters to the mainstream.
[link removed: No tube sites]
"The idea for a book about porn culture came to Kevin Scott the day his daughter decided she absolutely had to have a Bratz-doll pony. For months, the 5-year-old had begged him for a Bratz doll—clad in spike heels, fishnets and miniskirt, enormous puppy-dog eyes protruding from her oversized head."
I found this doll interesting
http://www.thehandicrafts.net/static/img/uploads/blog/bratz.jpg
http://www.boston.com/yourlife/family/blog/bratz%20doll%20jpg.jpg
http://www.thehandicrafts.net/static/img/uploads/blog/bratz.jpg
"In a market that sells high heels for babies and thongs for tweens, it doesn't take a genius to see that sex, if not porn, has invaded our lives. Whether we welcome it or not, television brings it into our living rooms and the Web brings it into our bedrooms. According to a 2007 study from the University of Alberta, as many as 90 percent of boys and 70 percent of girls aged 13 to 14 have accessed sexually explicit content at least once."
Porn, sex and children are in this world together. People are not going to continue a sex black out much longer.
Porn will become mainstream.
I have news for this guy sex has always been apart of our lives. It's just getting harder to hide it and a lot of people are tired of hiding it.

Spit,
The other side of the coin is this:
How do you know your kids don't have pr0n collections of their own? Today's teens can't get enough attention. There are plenty of places for teen girls to post suggestive pictures of themselves and from there, it is off to the cam shows.
The only sure way to keep someone from seeing something you want them not to see is not to have it in the first place. After that, secure off site storage. After that, combination locks on containers that cannot be moved, encrypted hard drives, and monstrously huge passwords.

^Shagdog,
I don't think it's a matter of people being tired of hiding sex. It's a matter of sex sells and what was provocative and risque twenty years is considered acceptable and normal in middle school. The advent of digital media and effects has rendered old the FCC regulations impotent; networks have already started broadcasting their shows live through the internet, and will have no obligation to pay a 7 million dollar fine if a boob pops out.
This is the solution, and the problem entwined; selling sex does turn it into a commodity, and that is the root of the problem with teens, tweens, and children having access to pornography; that they would be exposed to sex from a strictly commodity standpoint. Pornography (generally speaking) doesn't address intimacy, romance, flirting, or any of the other social aspects associated with sex. Most pornography does the exact opposite, portraying women as sexually uninhibited and emotionally devoid of interest. It's the same issue as with graphic violence; I don't believe I can or should shield my children from seeing it their entire lives, but neither should I expose them to it as early as possible.
Like Sarah Jane mentioned, it's a topic that I don't want taboo in my house, but neither do I care to intentionally bring up. Communication is one of the most important things to us; nothing is so terrible that we can't talk about it, and I do believe that you shouldn't engage in any activity that you would be ashamed to discuss it with your children (at least once they're adults.)

Three kids here, two teenage daughters and a small pre-school boy. Let me preface this by stating that we not only have porn in the house, but an entire adult "playroom" with it's own entertainment suite of equipment...some may call it a dungeon but it's not quite that.
Years ago, we took a 12x14 sitting room/office that sat off of our master bedroom (it has no windows) and turned it into a Theater room. This was before my daughters were really old enough to sit in there anyways. Then a few years after that, I took the door to that room and concealed it behind a large dresser on a pivoting device. The result is we have a "secret room." Since I had already thoroughly soundproofed the room for the theater it was meant to house, it has served double purpose as our "dungeon/playroom."
There is also a large gunsafe for my limited collection (mostly consisting of a Browning Sweet 16 complete set and a few handguns) in there and all my porn has been converted to digital media (mainly via rips, but also one reason why I'm a big subscriber to web-based porn content) and stored on a large-capacity digital jukebox of my own design. So net result is I am 100% positive that my children have never seen our porn stash. They could have, say, picked the locks on the playroom, got in, then hacked my DES-encrypted stash of porn while simultaneously cracked the safe combination and pulled out all my guns and started shooting them randomly in the sound-proof room.....but I kinda doubt it.
To be blunt, if I didn't have such an elaborate and ready-made "safe room" for the adult stuff, I'm not sure I'd keep porn in the house. As has been mentioned by others, if it's there and just hidden from view, sooner or later, some kid will find it. Same goes with guns.
Now I DO know that at least one of my daughters has seen porn that undoubtedly was scavenged from her friends' dads' collection. She came to me and told me straight up she had seen it at a slumber party. It was anal sex porn and she described it in detail to me as we discussed it...I likely even could pick the actual movie given the detail and setting (it was a Private flick I'm pretty sure). But I've developed a fairly open relationship with both of my daughters and they have little problem coming to talk to me about things that bother them. That's a subject for a different thread perhaps, but the moral of the story is that you can lock up your own porn all you want, but you have virtually zero control over what your kids will see the moment they leave your own home.
My advice to anyone who has kids and wants to keep porn around is to get a safe. Yes, they can be broken into but usually not without your knowledge at least. If you keep a LOT of porn, consider doing what I did and learn to digitally store your DVD's, destroying the originals after. Or if you must, recycle the plastic cases and put all your original DVD's and "liner notes" into 3-ring binders and put THOSE into a safe out of easy reach.

I don't have any problems honestly answering questions that my kids might ask. But also, I don't think it's exactly right to leave out a copy of Cum Face Fuck Dolls on the living room table. Do I think that the kid has seen porn on the internet? Of course. But I don't think I'll invite him in to share a DVD with my husband & I.

LubeNluv - I wish we had enough space for a play room. It is our dream and desire to have an extra space that's locked up and secret. Your marriage sounds honest, fun and sexy. I am also pleased to hear about your open dialogue with your children. One day when we have kids (we are trying), we too hope to have an honest dialogue with our kids also.

Doc,
That is a completely different conversation but I think one that is less disturbing that what spit roast initially asked. It is natural for boys and girls to explore their sexuality and to acquire words and images that help them feel and deal with these urges. That is totally natural! It's hard for us parents to think about it but our babies will have sex, mostly likely before high school ends and they are living under our roof.
Who are we kidding if we think we can keep teens away from porn? Especially today, when Cosmo has more naked ladies than Playboy, sex sells children's cheeseburger meals, Halle Barry's Catwoman rivaled Betty Paige's version (sorry, I pulled that one out of my ass!), The amount of cleavage in Prime-Time is thousands of times greater than what I grew up with. PG-13 sure ain't appropriate for thirteen-year olds, song lyrics are as provocative as ever and the internet - don get me started! That is where most of our kids will find their daily fix of porn. Everyone has computers and a connection to the web. At a certain age there is absolutely NOTHING we can do to keep them away from web-based pornography. No matter how strict we are, they will get there - at a friends house, the library, borrowing a laptop, at night after we have gone to bed, etc., We cannot and in most cases probably should not stop it. End of story.
I'm assuming most everyone reading this had porn stashes when they were teens. Are we all deranged, sexually damaged people because of it? Feel free to comment, Mr. Clinton?

I have a neighbor with a thirteen-year old boy. His son woke up at 3:00 AM to get on the computer while everyone else was asleep. Not only did this affect school because he could keep his eyes open, but it also affected his desire to exercise. The boy gained weight and became less accepted by his friends. The dominoes started falling. Yes, then se need to step in. His parents found out about the 3:00 AM deal because he visited sites that caught some viruses and sex-pop-ups started showing up while Mom was on Oprah.com!! Eventually, they brought their computer to the Nerd Herd Squad-Squint-people and they printed out a log of all the times the boy had been visiting adult websites (which told them the sites and the whens). The boy also bookmarked his favorite sites and hit them in sub-folders eight layers deep and labeled "7th Grade Book Report Research". Now he is banned from computer time unless is for school (I think that is a mistake) and the computer is unplugged at night (Dad puts it in his combination locked briefcase after the boy goes to bed).
The scariest thing is that if I want to change a feature on my phone, I have two options - go to my kids who can make the change in six seconds or spends three hours continually messing up before ultimately going to my kids anyway. The same is now true for many computer issues regarding Webpage development. I do not have a My space account and have never been there. Hell, to be honest, I do not even know what it is. I hire IT People to create the technology I need. Most of these people coming in are under twenty-one.
On the positive side, just as we developed with what was around us when we their age, so will our kids. It might be a big deal to us but to many of them, their response is "What's the big deal?"
As to our porn collections, our job is to make sure they don't get their greedy underage hands on them.

I'm divorced and I don't have my younger nieces and nephews come in so I don't have to worry about my place being kidproofed now. When I was married in the late '90s, my stepdaughter was in that 11-14 age range. Putting a code on the satellite to block the Playboy Channel wasn't a problem, and my porn vids were all in videocassette format. The vids were kept in my office which was locked when I wasn't home, plus I had some locked up in the basement in a trunk. I got married right when the Internet was taking off and my stepdaughter was not technologically adept. Neither my wife nor my stepdaughter knew how to operate my computer nor showed any interest in learning, so the online porn thing was not a problem then. Now my stepdaughter is in her 20s with her own porn stash and calls me when she sees something weird (she was in Germany for while) to see if I want it.

How did you and your stepdaughter connect on the porn front? Did she see any of your porn when living with you? Or did you just have that type of relationship where you were open about that sort of thing?

^^She didn't see any of the porn when I was living there. There wasn't much opportunity, she was rarely in the house without adult supervision and most of the vids were not readily accessible unless my wife left one out. If I remember correctly she did catch my wife off guard watching the Playboy Channel one morning, but there wasn't much on screen at the time. My stepdaughter knew it was an "adult" channel but wasn't real hip to exactly what was on it. It wasn't until well after I had moved out and divorced her mother that they had a big talk about adult entertainment subjects. That talk got started when a couple of vibrators and a DVD I had given my ex for Christmas slipped out of her bag. (Even though divorced for good reasons, we haven't stopped fucking each other silly on occasion.) The subject of vids came up and my ex told my stepdaughter about the, uh, variety of offerings in my library. As my stepdaughter got older and had more talks with her mother about such matters, my name figured prominently in my ex's stories of adventure.
After my stepdaughter graduated from high school, she married an Army guy and moved to Germany for a while. Once she got her own computer and she got my e-mail address we started communicating directly. She gave me a running commentary about the German sex shops and (after a while) her novelty purchases. We've always had a good relationship, even though I didn't assume full paternal duties when living there, and my family always has made sure to make sure she's been accounted for on special days with cards, presents and invites. I was always the stable influence and always accessible, so she talks to me a lot more than her mother about heavy-duty life details now that she's on her own.

^^^So everything that happened in the first paragraph above happened before she graduated high school? Wow1 Gotta tell you that I'm a bit taken aback.
And I have to ask as, well, I'm a perv. Any chance of getting with the step-daughter? That would be a nice score!

As I recall, the vibrator incident was either her junior or senior year of high school. That would have been around four or five years after the divorce and my ex was still coming over 2-3 times a month for dinner and a couple of rounds in the sack a night. (I probably should have turned pro years ago.) My stepdaughter was plenty old enough and learned enough by then to figure out that it wasn't just my cooking that kept my ex wandering over from time to time.
In the 3 or 4 years since then, my ex has gotten remarried (still shows up needy on my doorstep when she gets the chance). My stepdaughter is already considering divorce. She didn't listen to me about this guy and she says she's going to listen much more closely to me before getting serious again, so no, you don't have a chance unless you sneak in a quickie.
