I really haven't seen much of his gonzo work as a director, but I like Dog Walker very much as well. And excellent choices - I agree, especially: The Ecstasy Girls (overall my favourite hardcore film) Talk Dirty to Me Nothing to Hide Sex World Wicked Sensations (I've seen it, and it really is worth finding) Every Woman Has a Fantasy Smoker I also like Talk Dirty to Me 2 - it's no Nothing to Hide, but it's good in its own right, and John is great in it. As a director, I haven't seen many, but as john lyons pointed out, Night Shift Nurses stands out as the best I've seen. Lots of fun, with an off-kilter tone. And I pretty much lap up anything in which he plays the harmonica. :) [Link]

Of those three, I would recommend TB in terms of John Leslie getting so much screen time in a solid flick. From his gonzo stuff, I liked early entries in the Fresh Meat series but not the first one. Tara turns the tables on him and comes into his office dressed, coiffed, and talking like a Guidette. She fucks him on the desk or vice versa, it's hard to tell, and I always run for a towel. Brandee,Jennifer James) makes her debut taking on over the role from Shauna Grant (R.I.P.)who just committed suicide. Teeny Buns - A favorite of the late X-Rated Film Historian Jim Holliday (R.I.P.). High School Memories - I only saw the soft core version of this film. Expensive Taste - A rather violent film. Desires Within Young Girls - Where he takes on two different roles,in one role he plays an older man and from what I heard he begged for this role wanting to accept the challenge this part of the older is at the very beginning of the film.He also has a role where he is seen throughout the movie and develops a love interest for Clair Dia. Fleshdance - One of the few films with Shana Evans. Golden Girls - A cheesy flick from 1984 the same year I graduated from high-school. Candy's Little Sugar - A nice shot on video (for that time period extremely rare) directed by Gerard Damiano and what really stood out in this video was the excellent acting performace turned by Ariel Knight best known for her performance in Pretty Peaches 2. Shaun Costello (Box Set From Alpha Blue)- John Leslie appears in quite a few films here the titles slip my mind here.I John Leslie and Shaun Costello worked extremely well together as actors. As far as acting, he's typically the highlight even if he only appears to flirt and fuck. The first movie I saw him act in was Candy's Little Sister Sugar. His character was such a dick! Took a couple of other movies to realize he was just a great actor. :) Most of the directing work I've seen of his was from the late 80s/early 90s. Mostly smaller budget videos. Has anyone mentioned The Tease? An excellent example of one of the things that made Leslie unique to me: the ability to build sexual tension and anticipation. [Link]

I also loved his part in Coming of Angels: the running gag (in an otherwise fairly dark movie) was that each of hs sex scenes is interrupted, leaving him constantly frustrated. A world-class cast of women in this makes it a particularly memorable movie. [Link]
