It's gotten better in some ways and much worse in others. But things I see don't really change me. I don't think anybody really ever changes that much. My theory is that people have a fundamental psychological makeup that never really changes. It just gets continuously refined. So. If I wanted to see good blowjobs in the first place, I'm going to be happy to see changes in porn that suit my preferences. I had those preferences all along (I may or may not have known it) and I know what I like when I see it. I started watching porn because I love to see naked women. I always liked legs and butts and anal sex. That's what I started looking for. Gradually, I found stuff I liked. Now here's something odd. I was watching an anal flick one day and I thought to myself.... "Why the fuck doesn't he just pull out, spread her ass and let me see?" Now this was WAY before gaping became a big thing. I would say it was around 1992. Porn was tame then, compared to what it is now. But I started looking for box covers that looked like an inadvertant gape might take place. It wasn't easy to find at that time. But you know.....I must not have been alone. One guy renting anal movies in a small, obscure video store, in a small, obscure town isn't going to change the entire industry all by himself. So. Porn isn't creating these niches. It's gradually evolving to fill them. When you see something that you think is odd or goody or weird, it isn't porn forcing the act on the viewers. It's viewers gravitating towards stuff that interests them and porners taking notice and refining their products to suit the market. It could be far more responsive. There are far more niches than are being filled currently. But anyway. That's my take on it. [Link] |
